In many countries, students must leave school because of their poor behaviors. Some people think it is a good idea, while others argue that there are other ways to solve this problem. Discuss both views and give your opinion. Some people say that students having misbehavior records should not be allowed to go to school in case that they have negative influence on their peers. The relative moderates disagree that this may be too strict a way and sounds unfair for disruptive students.
As far as I’m concerned, I believe that there may be better options to tackle these problems.
The abandon of bad students not only means unfair treatment for the students but also means a failure of the school in carrying out its major duties. As is known to all, the fundamental purpose of education is not limited to academic learning only. Cultivating qualified citizen for the society is one of its chief tasks. It is the schools’ responsibilities to help students to correct their behavior and learn to abide by our social norms before they become good citizens.
Poor behavior students should not be deprived of their rights to be educated. Forbidding poor behavior students to go to school is too reckless a counter-measure that may produce more serious side effects. Students feeling deserted by the society are likely to get more cynical about life and they may even commit crimes if their hostility gets beyond control. In fact, bad students who can correct their mistakes under the supervision of schools cab be good examples for their peers.
Obviously there are many better ways to help the disruptive students than just keep them out of school. Education will not succeed without the cooperation from parents. Schools should provide guidelines to problematic students’ parents as to how to address trivial misbehaviors with bilateral efforts. Furthermore, it is proven that therapies from the professional psychological institute are also effective to help students to mend their behaviors. And for those extreme ones, it is better to provide with them special school rather than to leave them neglected by societies. In conclusion, it is not at all a good idea to give up educating the students of poor behavior. Many other effective ways can be adopt to help them out.
