Explanation:
Harry Potter is a series of books by J. K. Rowling. The main character, Harry Potter, is a boy who attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the series, Harry has to overcome many obstacles and trials in order to defeat the evil Lord Voldemort.
In the last book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry faces off with Lord Voldemort in a battle to the death. At one point in this battle, Voldemort uses an Avada Kedavra curse on Harry to try and kill him. However, this curse fails because Harry’s mother sacrificed herself for her son when he was an infant. Also, Voldemort has previously used Harry as the seventh Horcrux; so when Voldemort tries to kill him with the Avada Kedavra curse it rebounds and hits Voldemort instead!
The main reason why it didn’t kill Harry was because of his mother’s sacrifice; if she hadn’t died then she would have been there to protect him from this attack.
