This is such a tool that must be used right from the initial stages when a student is writing academic papers. I remember that when we first started writing the academic papers for our courses. We were taught in our school that the plagiarism tool must be used at the stage of proofreading so that we are able to produce the exact authentic information before the final submission. This is because often we are in the habit of pasting the data directly from the internet. This is wrong and this, in turn, can turn out to be a serious crime in the professional lives. The clients will be paying money to get the exact information so as professionals we have to keep in mind that we are providing them the exact information that is not a copied or pasted directly from the internet. However, it is tough to go through the entire work and find the plagiarized content manually. It is a very hectic and time-consuming job. It was for this reason that we always used the plagiarized tool for the seeing any plagiarized content was found in the assignment. As a result of which were write those parts again with fresh and authentic content. Even if we are taking information from the internet we must paraphrase it with our own ideas. f) Explain the Harvard referencing system that you have used (AC 3.2 part) Answer The Harvard referencing system is a particular type of referencing system that is used in many of the assignments. I have been using this type of referencing system in the assignments. This has assured me that the references that I am using a very authentic source of information. These references are usually used by the students of the University of Harvard. The references are used both in the reference list and in the text as well. In other words, I have used the information from the authentic sources and then used the same in the assignment. This is an easy, good and very commonly used system of referencing. g) Evaluate the anti-plagiarism software that you have used (AC 3.3 part) Answer I use some of the anti-plagiarism tools like the Dupli checkers and the copy leaks as well. They are very helpful as they have helped me to find out the plagiarized content from my work and rewrite it with some very fresh and creative content that is totally authentic. The advantage of the Dupli checker software is that it is free of cost and it is also very easily used. It also allows about 50 plagiarisms check per day to the users that are registered. So, it is one of the very easy and handy techniques for getting the assignment checked properly before finally submitting it to the university or to the teachers. (i) Explain what you understand by independent learning and time management skills(AC 4.3 part) Answer I feel that it is a kind of learning system where the student learns all the academic sources himself or herself without asking for help from the teachers or any other private tutors at home. In the modern day scenario, it is a very important and common method of lea ring where the students are not restricted to any strict code of rules made by the teachers. They can use the different resources like the book, journals, speeches and many other such sources that will help them to gather the information and then study as per their own will. This will help them to study on their own terms and thus prepare a chart that will also help them to develop a proper time management skill. |
