Effective leadership in the world
World is becoming more effective due to progress of technology, politics, economics, healthcare, companies and other entities. Leadership capacity is the capacity that describes the ability of leader to handle the particular situation. The growth or progress of any entity is dependent upon the performance of the leaders. It is required to have the effective qualities in the leaders. There are so many theories and models which help out to lead the employees appropriately. It includes autocratic, democratic, situational, transformational, transactional, laissez free and facilitative. The capacity of leaders comprises kill, personal behavior, attitudes and integrity for working in combination to exercise leadership (Nahavandi, 2016). It has been found that the improvements of many countries are increasing so it is necessary for the world to have the effective leaders for different field so that issues while progressing can be handled by leaders. Simultaneously, many countries are taking a renewed interest in figuring out how to support in a best manner for improving efforts. For instance if the district central office is changed, then it would be essential that agencies of state education develop the leadership capacity. Products and services of the company that were through going one year ago are provided obsolete if company do not follow the current trend and adapt to market amendments fast enough (Gmelch & Buller, 2015).
It is not possible to every leader to perform the task and duty at same level. They have level of recognition that they are not able to keep doing things the same way if they want to prosper in this environment. some leaders are the ability to adapt the change fast and have learned a method of change management that helps out to them for working when the changes get too big and the company’s environment goes too fast. Rate of change is going up in the today’s world. Due to going up fast, organizations are getting affected. The proof of these changes can be seen everywhere such as life cycle of products, number of patents field and the cost of the activities of mobile phone across the national boundaries. The growth of rate is not going up in a linear stint but also exponentially (Meleisea, 2005). As per speeds up of things, it shows that more stuff gets changing and it is necessary for the organization to react to that. It has been seen that there are so many changes are being done in all over the world. As per the changes in technology, politics, globalization, healthcare and many more, leaders of that particular filed performed the appreciated job. It has been analyzed that leaders should have qualities of confidence, integration, motivation, transparency, passion, innovation, patience and inspiration. In the context of changing in politics, it can be seen anywhere that the government of every country change as per the time period. A new President and government authority takes place after sometime so it is definite that changes will take place in the place of old ones. Leaders of every country are able to handle the situation appropriately and they have the leadership capacity to cope up with escalation development (Duffield, 2014). World has the leaders who have the leadership capacity to handle the situation effectively and they are able to teach fellows about the changes. Leaders of the world are most dedicating to describing these qualities in to action (Bass, 2010). They believe to take stand and do work in convince others to think and act differently. Leaders of the world are most efficient leader. There are so many examples can be drawn such as Donald trumph, Obama, Narendra Modi who are the perfect examples of leading the country in effective way. There are so many changes occurred in the world and number of changes is being done by these leaders but they lead all responsibility in a perfect way and brought so many innovation and changes in the world for the purpose of benefits (Gifford, et. al., 2013). They empower people by providing skills and guidance that enable moving forward. They are the example who raises their hands to meet with other countries so that the bonding between countries can enhance. By doing all effective things they won the trust of people and increase the confidence in them. They are not selfish who thinks only about his own country rather they are the leaders who perform his job in the favor of all over the world. Peace is important and the main focus of leader should be in the field of peace so that war between countries cannot take place. Effective leadership is not just about performing well but it is the definition of making difference from others (Marsh & Farrell, 2015).
Qualities required in the leaders
The healthcare system has been changed and it has impact on patient protection and affordable care act that President Obama had signed. The new health care reform law is more than just a big change. It has been promised by President it is transformative. The old framework gets disappeared if new one comes in the place of old one (Popescu & Predescu, 2016). It has been seen that there are number of leaders in which some are good and some are poor one. it is important for the entire government of all over the world to know about them and make criteria of punishments so that fear of get punished will remain in the mind of leaders. It will enhance the working capacity of leaders in honest way (Erzse, Bovet, Paccaud, Chestnov, & Banatvala, 2016).
Globalization is a process which can be positive or negative for all over the world in the term of trade business. The negative effects of globalization for developing country business can be so many such as the range of global commerce in enhancing rapidly which is dominated by transportation corporations which aim is only to maximize the profit without considering the development needs of individual countries (Kolzow, 2014). Due to globalization, competition has been enhanced among countries for the purpose of attracting foreign investment leads to a race to the bottom which is becoming in the risk of lower environmental standards. Critics of economics integration often focus to Latin America for instance on one side the enhanced openness to international trade had a negative influence on economic (Clarke, 2016). It has been analyzed that many governments in Latin America free to import far more instantly in comparisons of others region. It enhances the inequality among people. A leader of the America country was Obama who performed his role efficiently in the development of America. It is the responsibility of the leader to manage all the situations appropriately and the leaders of the world have the leadership capacity who handles the escalation development. Globalization is not only having the negative impact it also has the positive impact which comes in the favor of business growth (Day, Fleenor, Atwater, Sturm & McKee, 2014). It can enhance the new ides, new markets and new opportunities. This can lead to more access to capital flows, technology, human capital, cheaper imports and larger export markets which is more beneficial for the country (Harris, et. al., 2013). Leaders should aware about the growth of the country. For instance, the economy of East Asian economies describes the positive influence of globalization on the growth of economy and reflects that at least some situations globalization are able to reduce poverty. World has the leader who has the quality of development leader. Development leaders are aware about the principle challenges of their nation such as development of industrial, poverty, unemployment, gender inequity, urban renewal, agrarian transformation and regional disparities. They are conscious about the factual term that is developments challenges which can be viewed in holistic terms. Political and social problems can be considered of the reason of economic challenges (Fukuyama, 2017).
Impact of change and globalization on leadership
There are so many examples which shows that the world have leaders who have the quality of leadership capacity. Lee was one of the greatest leaders of Singapore who led country in 20th century. He had been on the saddle as prime minister for more than 3 decades. He is broadly known by the architect of Singapore who made many amendments in the favor of growth of economy (Evans, et. al., 2017). He was the leader who had the different knowledge in different fields such as environmental science, pharmaceutics, international logistics and many more. Singapore is considered as the financial hub. Per capita of GDP of Singapore is US$85,253, which is one of the highest in the world. To make Singapore best and financial hub, Lee built a team of effective and qualified people that he could find. He also created a first-class civil service to implement the vision he laid out for his people. It is the examples of leadership which was being performed by Lee so that the progress of country could not get prevented. These examples of leadership are enough to inspire to other leaders. It was one of the examples of one country. Each country has perfect example of leaders who has the leadership capacity. There were so many leaders who were the example of development leaders such as Deng Xiaoping of China, Thabo Mbeki of South Africa, Paul Kagame of Rwanda.
General, leadership has been analyzed two different perspectives. One image is innate quality of a person and another is as a function within an organization or a society. To handle the situation it is necessary for the leader to be honest, visionary, missionary and inspirational. The leader is not considered as a Solitaire whether he has a close and human relationship with staff. Leadership is a quality that provides the services to the Cooperative community and not impersonate of traditional power (Hendrickson, Lane, Harris & Dorman, 2013). John Maxwell has been stated that a leader is a person who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way. In the context of leading escalating development, the leaders of the world have a strong leadership capacity to cope up. It has been analyzed that state has played a mid role in Cooperative development in number of countries. Its relationship with cooperatives has been uncertain (Yoder-Wise, Scott & Sullivan, 2013). Cooperative has two parts on the one hand it has been considered by the state as effective tool for local development and gets rewarded with the benefit of tax and exclusivity in market segments. On the other hand of cooperative community is totally different, they have not been allowed to act with free manner and openly in the market (Léautier, 2014). It has been evaluated that the role of the state is negative in many cases. It is done because state does not get support what it wants due to lack of mobilization, education and sensitization approach. The support of the leader of state is not been longer as it used to be, but the state preserves in the maintenance of persisting control and supervision so that obstacle does not come in capacity building (Marsh & Farrell, 2015).
Examples of world leaders with exceptional leadership capacity
It has been concluded there are two types of leaders. It can be poor and good one also. It is totally dependent upon the situation and the quality of the leaders. As per the above discussion it made clear that the world have leader capacity to cope up with escalating developments. In this report various examples of different leaders of different country has been analyzed which represented the leadership capacity in effective manner. It is said that political leadership is must required for the development of economic. Leadership can be bad or good but it depends on what sort of political leadership and what sort of economic development. World is developing day by day and the changes come in not only in particular field but also in entire field. the role of leader in the changes of political, globalization, economic development and health care has been discussed which reflects that world has the number of motivational examples of leaders who performed their role in efficient manner and still world has number of leaders who performing their job in the favor of benefit of world.
