Vodafone is one of the largest mobile telecommunication companies. The operations of the company established in 1984, and it is one of the biggest leaders of the market by taking into consideration the operations of the business. Vodafone is present in more than 38 countries and has a good image in the market. The company has more than 60,000 employees and also 151 million customers and shareholders. The company formed in 1984 as one of the subsidiaries of Racal Electronics and then it is considered as Racal Telecom limited with minimum 20 percent of the capital of the company and it was offered to the public in 1988. Vodafone also made an agreement for the roaming call between the Vodafone and Telecom Finland. The company also introduced services like digital fax and text messaging. Vodafone also expanded the business in Uganda, Germany, and Hong Kong.

By analyzing the theory of merger and acquisition it is evaluated that Vodafone is one of the biggest merger and Acquisition Company in U.S. One of the biggest deals that took place has been the acquisition of the Vodafone group (Nalwaya and Vyas, 2014). The Verizon communication and Vodafone Company are now owned by Verizon communication. Verizon is known as one of the largest and profitable wireless company giving focus on 104.6 million retail connections (Gherardi et al., 2014).
