Objective and methodology of the research :
The aim of the research is to study about career management in the changing world of work.
The participants of this study were hired from among the employees of the largest corporations which were going through transformational change (Anderson, P., Anson, C. M., Gonyea, R. M., & Paine, C. (2015). The companies faced some kind of retention and recruitment issues as like major employers.
Findings and discussions:
Prediction of Career success and Job satisfaction.According to Sampson et al., (2014) A satisfied employee was the one with an optimistic outlook, involving in learning activities and somewhat less of a planned approach to career management.The picture of career success.Similar to this picture of job satisfaction, a successful employee had a positive attitude. In addition to this, a successful employee was not rigid (Truong, 2016).
Conclusions
Individual career management had a relatively small overlap between career success and job satisfaction. It is important to remember that if career success is considered much of the variance was unexplained.
Journal article 2 Objective and methodology of the research:
The aim of the research was to study about learning and development and how it has influenced the changing world of work (Kloetzer, Clot & Quillerou-Grivot, 2015).The study comprised of 100 employees of different companies. The sample is mixed. The data is collected by a questionnaire (Kennedy, 2016).
Finding and discussions:
Ciampa & Gallagher, (2015) states that it is important for the companies to design a learning development program carefully. The design should be according to the employee needs. Those companies who design the program well according to both employee and organisational needs gets good results (Jackson, 2015).
Conclusions and contribution of both articles:
Learning and development has a positive impact on the performance. The discussion of the results proves the question that training and development design is significant for the performance. The style of delivery improves the performance and also saves cost and time. The research a lot of materials used proved the question.Both the articles are related to the extent that they both are important for the overall performance of the company.
