The paper only highlights roles played by managers in the management of risk that result due to risk in the workplace, but much investigation remains to be conducted, notably on the managerial levers that might always consolidate or enhance the performance of the organization in the business setting. Besides, one potential section for the future survey comprises of creating the appropriate understanding of the barriers that are present and always stand between the supply chain manager’s willingness to accept several uncertainties in their interactions, need to attain greater heights of maturity of risk management along with prospect moderators (Purcell & Hutchinson, 2007). The need for the future investigation on this subject may also need to compare respondent membership of clusters based on different factors such as years of experiences of manager in managing the risk of workplace stress in supply chain industries as they influence maturity. The need of future investigation may comprise of both attributes of managerial behaviour towards crucial supply chain partners workers but also barriers, opportunities, and chances for partnering that result to the improved approaches of managing risk for the supply chain industries by managers.
Conclusion
From this literature examination of roles of the manager in the risk management of workplace stress in supply chain industries, it is clear that managers have vital roles in ensuring that every organization work as per the set objective in the present competitive business environment. Managers need to increase their attention on how they addressee and eliminate cases of risks resulting to stress due to increase cases of financial crisis. The management of supply chain management has to raise their awareness to be reflected in the more formal approach to the management of risk of the organization. The managers have the responsibility of having strong emphasizes on people that support the operations of the company rather than the board of directors as employees are the people in activities that are always affected by such occurrences of risks.
