The Importance of Emotional Intelligence in a Globalized World
Discuss about the Globalization Develop Business Operation In International Scale.
The term globalization is being considered as the process in which the organizations gets the chance to develop the business operation in the international scale (Jondle Ardichvili and Mitchell 2014). After the introduction of globalization in the international market, the rate of economic growth has been influenced by its actions. Another way, this can be said that due to the impact of globalization, it has brought various changes in the living standard as well as both the internal and external environment in an organization. This can be said that the physical well-being of human is also depends on the impact of globalization. As the business industry has highly influenced by the globalization, therefore this can be said that due to globalization the personal and professional life of human get influenced (Mahapatra and Panda 2016). It has been identified that emotional intelligence and globalization are inter connected to each other. This can be said that by understanding the link between the emotional intelligence and globalization, the cultural intelligence skills get developed. By understanding the threats and opportunities of globalization, people will be able to able to deal with the situation. It has been analysed that the process of globalization being influenced by the skill of emotional intelligence. The term emotional intelligence indicates the capability of a person in the case of controlling and managing the emotion. This can be said that by using the skills of emotional intelligence, a person gets the chance to influence others. In the case of leadership, this can be said that the emotional intelligence has higher level of impact on team management process. Self-regulation, self-awareness, empathy, social skills and motivations are the five important elements in emotional intelligence skill (Apanasovich Heras and Parrilli 2016). In this study the inter connection between the global technology, emotional intelligence skill, cultural skill, global business, global politics and global environment have been highlighted. In order to bring the improvement in the globalized world, people need to focus on adopting the emotional intelligence skills. By developing these skills, a person gets the chance to recognize emotions of others. The importance of emotional intelligence was being introduced in the year 1995 by Daniel Goleman. This has been identified in this study that empathy is highly connected with the emotional intelligence practices. With the increasing self-awareness, the person motivate own self in facing the challenges. Therefore this can be said that through this process, the emotions are being controlled, which helps in the case of managing internal and external conflicts. Social skills is important part in emotional intelligence, this skills are required in the case of maintaining and building strong relationship with others. Communicational skills are also being improved by adopting the emotional intelligence skills by a person. Emotional intelligence indicates the transformational leadership management practices. The behavioural skill as well as the performance skills are being developed through the improvement of intellect of a person. This increases the quality of competency as well as the innovative skill of a person. In this study, the importance of emotional intelligence skills will be developed through introducing the different workshop. In this study, it has been identified that in order to deal with the globalized world, people need to focus on adopting different emotional intelligence skills, so that they will be able to bring the personal and professional development.
The Workshop
After introducing my team members I have started the workshop in the auditorium. With the number of 100 participants the workshop has been developed. Before starting the workshop we declared the objectives of introducing the workshop. We have started the workshop by describing the globalization and its impact in our life. Through the workshop we have tried to shed light on the importance of globalization. We have mentioned that understanding the threats and opportunities of globalization is very important in the current situation. By analysing the globalized situation, the person will be able to develop the personal and professional skills. Therefore, it is very important to get proper training for improving the skill of understanding the global citizenship. We believe there is a deep connection between emotional intelligence, globalization and cultural intelligence. After interacting with the participants we have analysed that large number of people are not aware about the skills of emotional intelligence which is very important in this study. We have analysed that in order to develop the emotional intelligence skills, the person needs to be quite and a good listener. On the other hand, global technology have been highlighted by us so that people can relate the entire practices. We have analysed that ICT has played an important role for reducing the cost of communication. As its result, the people will be able to bring the changes in the capital market. It has been mentioned by us that in order to maintain the market competition globalization plays an important role. In order to make the conversation more clearly we have mentioned about the global economics. After discussing with the participants we have analysed that the people believe that in the worldwide capital market the government allows the big and small organizations for participating in the global economy. This has helped us to analyse that due to ease of labour movement the cultural diversity in the organizations gets increased. In this situation people need to learn how to bring the changes in their behavourioal skills. By developing the emotional intelligence skill people will be able to get connected with others emotion. We have also discussed that by adopting the emotional intelligence skill, the intelligent people gain the ability for managing and controlling others emotion. Another way we have also mentioned that the market based economic structure plays an important role for maintaining the balance between the international and national interest. It has been also analysed that the political and legal structure of the country impact on the global economic standard. Ion the workshop, we have mentioned that after the introduction of globalization, various technology have been introduced in the business industry. We have also mentioned that in the developing countries, technological development has brought improvement in economic standard. On the other hand, in the case of Middle East countries, due to uses of social media the communicational skill has been developed. Using the effective communicational skill, the business organizations can get the chance to bring the cultural diversity in the workplace. After describing the importance of communicational skill we have related it will the personal and professional career. We have mentioned that if a person wants to improve the intelligence skills, the person can participate in different seminars where the person will be able to gather the information regarding attitude and behaviour. This process will help for identifying the emotional data that helps to shape the professional behavioural responses, which can be advantageous for the person. Another way, this can be said that by acclimating and dealing the emotional behaviour in different circumstances, the workplace relationship can be settled. Through the workshop we have analysed that by growing the self-awareness, the participants will be able to manage different challenges. It is also considered as the important part in developing the communicational skills. In the workshop we have also focused on the divergence and convergence practices. We have analysed that the existence of divergence and convergence cultural practices are very important in the case of developing the cultural environment. Here the global citizen has higher level of impact on the in growing economy. Therefore developing the global identity has become an important initiative of people in the current scenario. We have suggested to increase the value of global citizen so that they will be able to develop the world wide community. Therefore, through our workshop we have tried to bring the changes in systematic thinking. By rising the consciousness of people, we have engaged them in the social system. We have suggested to develop the thinking in different ways to bring the changes in the oculi behaviour. We have also mentioned about Theory U. In this theory it has been clearly mentioned that the globalization is highly connected with the cultural intelligence. We have mentioned that the globalization increases the prevalence and speed. This brings the diversification in the workplace. By adopting the skills of cultural diversification, the employees in an organization will be able to deal with the collegues properly. On the other hand, we have also analysed by adopting the skill of emotional intelligence, we will be able to deal with both the positive and negative situation. This will play an important role for developing the positive energy in us. This will also grow our knowledge in the economic background. It helps make the balance between both the positive and negative energy by using the intellect. Therefore, this can be said that if people want they can develop their emotional intelligence by themselves this will be beneficial for developing the globalized citizenship and cultural diversification in a country.

In the above study, it has been identified that the emotional intelligence has a higher level of impact on personal and professional development. Not only for the career development, but also this is very important for the development of the personal life. A person with the effective intelligence skill will be able to control own and other emotions. As the study has already mentioned that by developing the economic standard people get influenced by the positive and negative way. People need to be culturally diverted, so that they will be able to develop the healthy atmosphere in the workplace. As the skills of emotional intelligence is interconnected with the professional development skills, therefore, the study has suggested that passion and dedication are the two important elements in the case of developing the emotional intelligence. Here the study has mentioned that emotional intelligence is considered as the ongoing process. This can be said that in the case of bringing the innovation and creativity to the performance the people will be able to deal with the globalized world. By adopting these skills, a person will be able to adopt the quality of leadership, which will be helping in the case of dealing with the globalized world. These skills are very important for the managing and controlling the economic standard. In the case of developing effective global policies in the workplace, the organizations try to develop the emotional intelligence skills. This is also very effective in the case of managing the difficult situation in career. It has also been analysed that this is very effective in the case of developing the cultural development in the workplace. By developing the cultural diversified environment in the workplace the organisation will be able to manage its employees in the proper manner. On the other hand, this can be said that it is beneficial for the employees too
