Diversity policy for any organisation clearly states that it must be agreed by all the employees and no employee will discriminate others on the basis of the gender, race, ethnic origin, disability, age, nationality, national origin, sexuality, religion or belief, marital status and social class (Riccucci, 2018). This policy must be followed by every employee and if there is even slight misconduct found in this case get expelled from the organisation. IN this there are chances that Sarah, Irene and the European guy can face punishments for their works under the diversity policy of the organisation.
The above based scenarios explain that there is certain violation of the diversity policy by the employees. In this case of Sara and Kelly, it can be said that Sara is breaking policy by not accepting to work with Kelly thus violating the law of religion or belief. In case of IT team activity day some of the major rules were broke by Irene by not counting Alvin, Danielle and Orlando. Although this is not an intentional move but movement was due to negligence. In the case of the European guy this was a major mistake and needs to have some major consequences for the actions done.
In order to make the discrimination policy more clear there must be a team meeting done where all the points must be well explained to the employees of the organisation. Other than this the terms and conditions must be regularly updated with changing time so that employees must adapt to the changing times. Problems that like that of shelly must not be solved with care as this is a serious issues that is faced by the modern times. In this case it is well understood that the European guy have done some of the major mistakes by commenting on the female employees and touching them improperly.
