Research process
The project is focussed on the Cloud Computing for Business which is a very informative and interesting topic. The research report has been presented with many examples which shows how Cloud computing has been proved as an excellent technology which provides a new edge to the business. The research followed a process in which the topic has been introduced and then the data has been collected from many sources. This has provided me immense knowledge about the advantages of cloud computing for business and also some limitations of it for the business. The machines in the organisations use this technology to make processes easier and more effective than before (Muggleton, 2012).
The research done on this topic has opened the gates of knowledge for me and various insights have been produced. This showed how technology can boost up the performance of the business. A comparative analysis has been done which made by skills of analysis and evaluation sharper (Ortlipp, 2008). Performing this research helped me in getting the immense and detailed knowledge about Cloud computing and it will further help me in building my career. I challenged myself to do the best research on the advantages and disadvantages of Cloud computing in business and I tried to meet it by referring to different sources. There are different authors who have different views on the same. Going through different literatures and secondary data sources helped me in analysing that how Cloud computing can be proved best for the business and how its disadvantages can be minimised. This helped me in gaining the reading skills and it provided me the confidence to speak about the topic. It will also help me in getting a good job in my field of interest (Ortlipp, 2008).
While developing the research, I have gone through various processes and events which provided me learning for lifetime. This will surely help me throughout my life in my personal and professional career. The scope of this topic is wide. Cloud computing is the latest concept which has been the talk field of interest for many researchers. There is so much to gain from this topic and that is why, I have gone through many sources to gain various insights on the same. I attended the lectures which provided me the idea of cloud computing. My lecturers also guided me to complete the research project successfully. This boosted up confidence in me. Taking theoretical knowledge is not enough and that is why. I practiced the concepts I learned. It assisted me in improving my communication skills, research skills, time management skills and other skills which will further develop me in my personal and professional life (Giulioni, 2013).
Advantages of Cloud Computing for Business
I learned how to go through the huge data and manage it to extract the data which is usable and meaningful to conduct the research. I have completed the research following the whole process starting right from planning and coordinating to the main conclusion of the research. I planned the research by making a schedule so that the research could be completed within a given time period. I framed the questions for my research and planned how I will collect the data and information to answer those questions. The specific information and details about the topic will help me further to improve my growth opportunities in career (Boud, 2012).
The process of research helped me to identify my strengths and weaknesses which further helped me to grab the opportunities out there in the job market. I have gone through many examples of the companies which have showed immense growth after implementing the cloud computing processes in their operations. I have read about the personal experiences of many owners who share how they managed to improve their operations by implementing cloud computing. I have analysed that the process of learning should be such which can develop positive attitude and can enhance the knowledge of the learner. I have analysed my strengths and weaknesses so that I could take challenges throughout the learning process. This could develop a strong base for the growth and development of the learner. I have identified the areas where I need improvement so that the goals of my personal and professional life can be achieved. My writing skills have also been improved while developing the research report. This quality will help me in getting the managerial position because it is significant for the writers to be good in writing. It would benefit me in future for taking up the role of corporate leader (Aronson, 2010).
On the personal level, I benefitted from this research as I learned time management, scheduling and also gained self confidence by interacting to various people. It helped me in making the effective use of the available resources and to meet the deadlines for the research report. One of the biggest benefits I gained from this research is that I reduced spending time on social media for nothing. Now I browse internet for gaining some knowledge and not for wasting time (Helyer, 2015).
I have gone through many data collection sources and it helped me in identifying that which information is genuine and should be included in research. The steps were followed in the research and for this research schedule is followed. Data is collected so that research can be done following a particular method of research. There are various approaches and methods through which the research can be conducted. It is very important to choose the appropriate method of research. Then, a reliability and validity of the research are also analysed to know that how research is a genuine one and how people can trust on the information collected. This also helps in understanding the value of ethics and maintenance of trust which is important for the future career. This also helps the researcher in learning from the own mistakes and achieving the goals systematically and ethically (Lucas, 2012).
Limitations of Cloud Computing for Business
Using my strong skills like communication and time management, I completed the research on time and this could help me in taking up the roles in future which requires more communication relation job roles. This shows I can be a good manager in future who can communicate to the team and can handle the things on time. This process of research helped me in recognising my own qualities which were not clear to me before. I heard different opinions of the officials of the businesses who shared their experiences. I saw that cloud computing have brought increase in the revenues of the companies (Toros & Medar, 2015).
The judgements are made after going through the data, evaluating and analysing it. I have made observations in the business research that learning process develops the thinking and doing abilities in the individual. I have greatly sharpened my critical thinking skills throughout the research process. There are some gaps in my required skills and what I actually have. These gaps have to be filled to determine success in the future. I learned that a learner should keep his eyes and ears open to see and hear everything and understand. This inspires the individual to learn new things and it also enhances the knowledge database of the person (Garritz, 2010).
During the final preparation of the research report, I structured the report in the best way which is understood easily by all. The features of cloud computing are been discussed with the advantages and disadvantages. Also, the sessions I attended gave me highly motivational and informative experience which will boost up my confidence for the future also (Schneider and Sunyaev, 2016).
To summarise, I would say that all the research questions framed are been addressed effectively because the relevant data and methods are used for the research. The findings of the research are been discussed properly to show how the activities conducted are relevant to the research.
