Booking Process
FastDrivers is the Driving lessons service company and the company facilitates online booking for the customers to book online lesson in NSW state. FastDrivers decides to launch a website and from this website they provide the online booking service or facility. The customers those who want to avail the service of FastDrivers can access the service from any devices even from the mobile devices. Customers at the time of the first booking will have to provide all the necessary details. The customers will have to provide all the personal details along with the address details. For the first time booking, they also need to provide the bank card details if the customers want booking for the subsequent changes. The customers who are already registered with FastDrivers simply can login their system and can make the bookings.
The customers will have to login in their system and will have to book a lesson on preferred day and night. The system will analyse the booking and the booking time. If the required booking is not available on the preferred time, the system suggests another booking date.
FastDrivers have appointed a project manager to design a system such that they can facilitate the customers to register and create an account with ease. The system will check for any available driving instructors in a particular area as per demand of the user. The system will check for the booking dates and will provide the booking dates to the customers conveniently. The system will facilitate processing for all booking transaction will provide the receipt.
The project manager is responsible to design a system and maintain a database which contains the data relevant to the activities. The database developer carries out the process modelling and the data modelling. The data modelling and the process modelling will assist to know the exact design of the database and the system.
FastDrivers has been given the responsibility to the project manager to design and develop a system that will facilitate the customers. The customers can register and login in their system. The customers may request for a particular instructor of their choice. The system will be able to check for available instructors. Also the customers can be able to book lesson at their preferred date. If the customer does not get any preferred date for booking, then the system will choose for them a suitable date.
FastDrivers has been planned to appoint project manager, the project manager will prepare a project plan. The database developer appointed by FastDrivers will carry out the process modelling and the data modelling. Both these data modelling and process modelling will help the senior management to know what will be the exact design of the software and how it will work and facilitate FastDrivers.
Responsibilities of Project Manager
FastDrivers appoints the project manager for the project. The project manager will prepare the plan and will prepare the budget schedule. He will also prepare the total cost of owner spreadsheet for the project. The project plan will contain the timeline schedule that is the start date, finish date, the budget schedule as well as the project.
