In the modern day competitive world, career can be said to be one of the most important elements in professional and personal development. Career can be defined as a particular occupation or operations that are carried out by the person for a significant part of the person’s life in an effective and organized manner. Such a process can help develop success in the most efficient and organized manner (Niati, Siregar & Prayoga, 2021). Career can help shape up the future of the person as it provides the best opportunity for success in the most efficient and organized manner. The current globalized world provides a very little scope to the development of each and every individual. It is mostly on the dynamic capabilities of all the individuals to develop the necessary skills and competencies needed for success in the current scenario. Career readiness is certainly one of the most important elements in the modern day career development process. Readiness in career opportunities can help a person to utilize all the available resources to the full extent and ensure success in life accordingly (Zacher et al. 2019). Readiness in career based options certainly means that a person has developed the much necessary strength and skills that are generally needed by a person to develop high level of competencies through different forms of experiences (Niati, Siregar & Prayoga, 2021). The different form of competencies that are important and a part of the competent business development process includes the likes of;
- Different skills that can help to solve problems and develop a critical understanding of the business process in an effective and organized manner

Tabulation of the current history presents the opportunity to the readers to get a clear and effective understanding of the career in a professional manner. I am a highly motivated Accounts Assistant manager possessing the capability to meet all the departmental needs of the organization. Some of the main career history has been my skills in paying attention to each and every detail, solid understanding of the different forms of the accounting principles as well as the development of the accounting principles is important for the development of confidentiality requirements. The development of the preparation and maintenance of financial records, meeting tight deadlines and many more as such have been an important part in the development of the business . I have been pursuing my masters in business administration from the University of Newcastle and expect to complete the course along within the year 2022. I have completed the bachelors of Business administration in Accounting in the year 2018. Developing and learning the particular course helped me to gain insights into the business management and also ensure success in the most effective and organized manner. My bachelor’s degree is from Solusi University and it was undertaken from the year 2013 to the year 2018. Apart from this, I also have completed advance level of Business Studies in Accounts and Geography in an advanced level in the year 2011 and 2012. I have completed both my high school studies from Zimbabwe schools which is certainly important for success in an effective and organized manner.
Importance of Readiness in Career Opportunities
Considering my work experience, I have a vast work experience in different fields which provides me the necessary capability to ensure success in developing my professional aspects. The very first job that I attended was the position of a placement job in MBERENGWE Rural district council in Zimbabwe in the year 2015. As part of my job I had a number of responsibilities, like that of cash handling, receiving money, completing RTGS forms and many more as such. Apart from all this, the job also involved the use of different kinds of banking related duties. My second assignment was with Ralph Bomment Greenacre & Reynolds who are the registered public auditors of Zimbabwe. I started the assignment on the year 2016 as a voluntary audit clerk. My job was basically based on accounting and auditing which included verifying different records, checking the accuracy of records as well as compiling financial data to ensure transparency in the process. I joined Fossil Contracting Private Limited in Zimbabwe in the year 2018 as an assistant accountant in the year 2018 and started off with a lots of different accounts related tasks like that of statutory payments, weekly budget preparation, data capturing into pastel, development of fixed assets as we’ll as bank reconciliations. Thus my educational qualification along with my work experience provides me the pillars for the development of my professional career. I believe my work experience and the education I gained in school and college, will lead me to the right way in order to ensure my own personal as well as professional development.
Personality can be defined as the expression of a person’s traits in relation to the feelings, behavior and mentality of the person. It generally involves the understanding of the different traits within a person. The main traits that will be focused upon involve the likes of withdrawal and willpower. Apart from this, it is also important to get a clear understanding of the individual link that has the power to develop personality in an effective and organized manner. Personality is something that does not change over the time and remains constant to a person’s nature all throughout his life. Different people have different personalities which makes all people different from each other. Such a different personality process is something that makes all the people unique and uncommon. A person’s personality is based on the environment, composition of genetic factors as well as environmental composition that are important for success in the modern day. A person’s nature or character can be defined by the use of the three different character traits. The different character traits are namely,
Empathy- Empathy can be classified as the capability of a person to gain a clear understanding of each and every personality trends and share the same feeling with the others. The development of the feelings responds to the development of emotional states among the people. The development of emotional states among the people makes people more understanding and resonates to different forms of feelings. The Light Triad Test undertaken here by me has helped me to gain a clear understanding on my own personality attributes. At the very beginning, it has been seen that I have an empathy score of 72% which is certainly quite high. This makes me resonate to different feelings. Apart from this, an empathy score of 72% makes me quite emotional person who is always ready to lend a helping hand, to others and provide different forms of mental, emotional and physical support to the people who are in need of them.
Real-Life Example of Career Development and Competencies
Compassion- Compassion is another personality trait of a person where the person seems to experience pity, concern and sympathy. Sympathizing and earning feelings for people is something that can help people to earn respect and develop strong sense of feeling for the others. Compassionate individuals have the capability to easily identify the areas of concern and accordingly react to the issues. Being compassionate can help to develop and understand the empathy in the most effective and organized manner. My compassion score on the light triad test scorecard has been 81% which clearly indicates my high compassionate level. The high score provides me the much necessary capabilities to display a non-judgmental stance that is important for the understanding of the people and taking care of other people.
Altruism- Altruism is again another major concept of the personality process. One of the major traits of character is based on the development of altruism. Altruism refers to the capability to ensure disinterested and selfless concern for the well-being of the others. The people who have a high score on altruism can have the tendency to make others experience their warmth and care. My altruism score on the light triad test has been 72% which is quite high and it helps me to develop as a generous person. I like to help other individuals with my whole hearted support without expecting anything in return. Such a process can ensure success in the most effective and professional manner.
Average- My average score is 75% overall which is again quite high. Thus to summarize the total fact, I can be classified as a light person who is highly passionate, calm and compassionate individual. My basic characteristics point towards my developmental success. I am a person with a helping hand for all people and have the capability to share unconditional love and support for the others. Such an unconditional love and support along with strong sense of non-judgmental stance makes me a proper individual with due respect for others.
Managerial competency profiles can be said to be one of the most important and effective elements of success in the modern day process. The development of leadership traits helps the business to develop the managerial competency in an effective and organized process. Such a process can help the business to develop strong and developed managerial competencies that can be beneficial for success in the most efficient process. Managerial competency skills involves management and leadership skills, communication skills, finance based skills, project management skills, collaboration skills and critical thinking skills that are important for success of the management. The managerial competency skills thus provide an efficient and organized efficiency of the different competency skills that needs to make a good manager. There are a number of different aspects that determines the competency levels of the managers. It is important for the management to develop effective competency ratings that can be beneficial for the professional success of the individuals in the most effective process. There are six different forms of managerial competencies that can be important for success in the most efficient process. This includes the likes of;
- Personal Management Competencies- The personal management competencies generally incurs the personal skills of a manager that helps him to develop into a better person. As a manager my score in personal management competencies is (N-14). Such a score relates to a number of different facts that are important for success in the most efficient and organized process. This includes the likes of ability to learn from the past failures, ability to be diplomatic at special times and development of personal integrity. I am a person who takes a note of the past issues and make it a point to address them in an efficient and organized manner. The development of personal integrity is important for my development as a person. Apart from this, the process also involves the development of verbal communication that can be said to be an important element in the development of managerial skills. The organization and development of verbal communication presents the opportunity for the managers to develop a clear understanding of people and accordingly develop skills to find a proper solution. It also enables me to develop the skills that can be important for the conduction of meetings. Such a process can ensure success in the most professional and efficient manner and ensure success accordingly.
- Team Leadership Competencies- Team leadership is one of the most important elements in the modern day to day work process. Working as a team can help enable developmental success in a professional and organized manner. Each and every organization needs a number of proper teams which can undertake the responsibilities of a particular department or undertake a project for the change within the business organization. Development of a team thus needs a proper planning and efficiency that can be important for success in the most efficient and organized manner. Development of the team leadership can help the management to ensure success in the most efficient process. A team leader has the capability and the ability to lead the members of the team by organizing them in an effective manner and developing success accordingly. As a manager my score in Team leadership competencies is (N-14). This makes me an individual with a number of different forms of characteristic dimensions. This includes the likes of, Awareness of interpersonal differences, building morale in team situations, coaching, supporting and developing others, delegate efficient processes, lead and conduct meetings, participate in different team situations as well as help to motivate others in the most effective and organized manner. Building morale of the team members can help the team members gain the necessary confidence and develop skills that can be beneficial for facing professional challenges in the workplace. As said earlier, my skill as a manager is also quite important given the strong ability to develop and conduct meetings in a phased manner. As a manager my score also proves that I am the person to stand by my team in all situations and provide individualized consideration to all the subordinates.
- Networking Competencies- Development of networking competencies is another part of the management competency skill that can be important for success in an effective and organized manner. The development of political aptitude and persuasiveness is important for success in the most efficient process. Networking involves the development of cross-cultural skills, persuasion of subordinates and effective negotiation with the concerned individuals. As a manager my score in Network competencies is (N-15). The network competency score makes me an individual with a strong awareness of the cross cultural elements, strong sensitivity to national differences as well as projected appropriate image in terms of commitment, enthusiasm and personal drive. Such a process can be important for the development of success in the most effective process. Development of network competencies involves focusing on the knowledge and providing efficient value to the factors involved in the particular process. On the other hand, the network competency involves the development of proper follow up and developing into an active listener. Such a skill can help me to project an appropriate image of self professionalism and corporate based culture. Such a self professionalism and corporate culture can be important for success of a manager in the most effective and organized process.
- Problem Solving and Decision making competencies- As a manager my score in Problem solving and decision making competencies is (N-14). My score reflects my capability of making a great manager in the process. For example, I have the capability to appropriately develop the best possible diagnosis for all the problems/. It also provides a strong level of analytical capacity that can be beneficial for success in the professional structure. My score reflects my skills to solve all the different problems and understand financial implications, political and HR implications for all the business decisions involved in this particular process. One of the most important elements of the particular process is to ensure that the different problems are solved in a professional and effective process that can ensure effective success. The organization and development of problem solving capability presents the opportunity for the managers to develop a clear understanding of people and accordingly develop skills to find a proper solution.
- Administrative and Operational Competencies- Last but not the least, the administrative and operational competencies is the competency that have a strong impact on the success of a manager. As a manager, one needs to have a strong level of administrative and operational competencies that can be beneficial for success in the most efficient manner. My score in Administrative and operational competencies stands at (N-19). Such a score makes me capable of establishment of control systems within sphere of influence and development of qualitative monitoring process that can be important for success in the most professional manner. Product service knowledge, succession planning, operations scheduling and market research is also something that can be important for my own managerial ability development. Apart from this, the development of productive monitoring and ability to develop sales and advertising helps develop skills in the most effective manner.
- Strategic and organizational wide competencies- My score in strategic and organizational wide competencies stand at (N-15). Such a score makes me a great manager as I am quite aware of the mission and vision of the organization and can easily develop plans at any time to ensure success for the business. Such a process also helps me to develop organization wide strategies that can be beneficial for success in the most efficient and organized manner. Identification of problems across the spheres also ensure success in the most effective process.
Educational Qualifications and Work Experience
The analysis of my educational skills and my work experience proves to be an impending factor in my development as a manager. The development of my managerial skills also presents an opportunity for me to learn skills and develop knowledge in the most professional manner. My competency score proves my efficiency as a strong and effective manager which can help me to develop into a strong professional in the future.
