Brief Description of the Chosen Organization and the team selected
Discuss about the Strategic Human Resource Development for Teaching Skills.
Modern times have witnessed different forms of learning and teaching skills that have helped the people practising the same move out from the classical methods of teaching to the new forms of learning. Teaching has always been associated with children and so the methods of teaching have always been directed to suit the minds of the children, which is again known as the pedagogical methods of teaching (Adams and Bell 2016). Moreover, when the teaching is concerned to the other group of people, especially the ones with the older age bracket, both the form and style of teaching has to be drastically different to suit the mind of the people belonging to a different age group. The teaching process of the adults have to cater to the minds of the people belonging to the different age groups and so has to follow a number of techniques for the same. The process of teaching for the adults which is also known as the anagogical methods of teaching requires different methods and mindsets for teaching and has to follow a certain amount of new rules and regulations (Richards and Rodgers 2014). The following paragraphs deal with the method of teaching the adults and their ways and methods implemented to make their learning process easier and more comprehensible. In addition, the following analysis focus on the strategies and programmes that are needed for the process of teaching the adults in the light of the various plans implemented.
The conduction of the plan was done on an NGO Pulse that specialises in the adult education sector and the chosen team was the people who lived there and were above the age of fifty. The area of the team that is doing the task of making the adult education possible is the ones that specialises in the theme of adult education. The people who are being given the knowledge had little or no knowledge about the technological advancements of the world and also even did not know how to operate a mobile phone. The people over there did not have any idea about the things that are happening in the world and some of them even looked for some part time jobs in this age to look after their ageing self. The organization selected was more of a casual organization where there was no facility for the people residing there with the quality of life and also the people associated with different kinds of job and roles living there.
Evaluation of the learner’s characteristics
The characteristics of learning is defined as the key elements present in the learning of the individual, mainly thought off in the early stages of the life. The characteristics of learning can be said to be different for the different age groups of the people. The people who are in their early childhood have a niche for learning which can be seen in their approaches towards learning and reading (Grisham-Brown, Hemmeter and Pretti-Frontczak 2017). However, with time when the children approach towards their teenage and adulthood, their flare for reading and learning decreases largely. All they want to do is earn for their living, which is mainly categorized into earning money and spending for their livelihood.
However, due to the insufficient knowledge and learning skills it becomes highly imperative for the learners to learn and make use of the learning in the actual reality of the life. The characteristics of the adult learner may be categorized into the following aspects like the motto to learn, discipline, full of prospect, understanding, multi-tasker, getting to know the needs and others. The characteristics of the learners help the teachers to understand the kind of teaching that they require for their better performance.
Also, the learners of the specific age group are given training according to the needs so that they can learn what they want and need to learn at the age. The people selected for the project are learners who needed to learn about the technological advancements of the world so that they can operate the services without the help of the others. In addition, the learners needed to learn about the basic literary needs and mistakes that they face in the modern world.
The characteristics that helped the learners are their interest to learn about the whole process and their ability to learn quickly. The motivation of the people helped them to be more active in their learning approaches that helped them in better grasp of the subject. The characteristics of the learners to engage in multitasking activities also made them one of the best ways to learn about the new subject and their implications. The adult learners make sure that they get the ample amounts of task given by their allocators and also make sure that the tasks given to them are done within the stipulated period.
The adult learners are quite different from the children as their capability to accept more of the situation and their interest to learn more is greater than the children who are learning the same things or aspects. The other characteristics of the adult learners make sure that they get the required amount of benefits from the things they are learning and the things thought to them by the teachers of their specific genre. The adult learners know their need to indulge in all forms of learning to make the necessary changes in their nature and work mode. The different types of characteristics of the adult learners made them different from the children as the children are engaged in their mode of learning by the only form emotional connection but the adult learners are engrossed in their mode of learning only by the necessity.
Evaluating strategy to identify the core needs training requirements
One of the primary problems that is aroused in the adult learners is the time to get accustomed to a specific subject. The time needed for the learning of the people of the adult age group is comparatively more than the children are as their capacity to receive any new forms of learning reduces significantly. In addition, the learning characteristics of the adults in respect to the children made sure that the people teaching the adults and also making them aware of the technological advancements are made aware of the learner characteristics and also given enough time and scope to make the learning of their use. The evaluation of the learner characteristics thus play an important role in the learning methodology and the evaluation of the spirit of the learner.
Learning strategy is defined as the programme implemented by the teachers and teaching groups to make a specific group of people adjust to the specific genre of teaching applied to them. The teaching strategy of different groups of people varies differently as there are a number of strategies implemented to suit various kinds of people belonging to different age groups. The age groups of people vary accordingly and so is the strategy to their learning skills and implementation to the same in the face of problem they are facing in the teaching arena.
The people of the older age group who are always on the verge of getting accustomed to the ways and means of learning have better adaptability skills in them though sometimes they need assistance with their learning and adaptation skills to make space for the same. There are a number of strategies implemented by the people who are teaching the older age groups as they need the assistance in a number of things including the way of teaching that can make them adapt to the mode of teaching in a better way and perspective. The people who are teaching the older generation need to have severe patience and skills to make them believe in their incapability and also to make them realise the flaws present in them. The people who are teaching the older generation have to be extremely patient and with a strong mindset to make the people teach the new things which they have not tried or seen in their ages or times (Donahue et al. 2015). There should be a specific strategy to the above-mentioned way of teaching as it will help the people of the older generation to have a better understanding of the needs and wants associated with the learning process.
The strategies involved with the teaching the people of the older generation involved the sorting out of the things that they need to learn, making effective use of the methods and policies that they can implement while making the older people prone to learn (Rapp and Arndt 2012). The people of the older generation can make the best use of the strategies and planning as most of the people of the generation know how and why to use the means effectively. The strategies involving the older generation makes sure that the people get effective utilisation of the things that they are prone to learning. The older people should be made aware of the problems that is clouded in their minds. The strategies included in the learning procedures involving the inclusion of specific learning techniques and also required materials have made the people accustomed to the whole process real quick.
The evaluation of this strategy is better than the other strategies and is therefore chosen in order to make the adults fully aware of their learning capabilities. The different time programme allotted for the implementation of the strategy is to make sure that the people who are in the process of learning get better ways and means to implement their learnings and also to make sure that the people get enough chance to learn the new models of learning and process them due to the simple modes of teaching by the team of adult learners of NGO Pulse.
Numerous training programmes need to be associated in the process of making an adult get accustomed to the knowledge and learning process that is to be adhered by them to get the required amount of results. The people of the said organization are taken into consideration while formulating the plans and strategies for their learning and implementation. However, while formulating the strategies and plans for the implementation of the adult education programme it is being seen that certain parts of the people require intensive training programme that need to be associated with the same.
The training that can be associated with the theme of adult education and older knowledge is to implement a practical experience to the whole facet making the process of the training implement better results to the old people. Training should be arranged for the people who have a problem in making things work for them or have understanding issues. The people can also make the older people have better attributes to the society and make the whole process possible by making them engage in various kinds of training and development programmes (Heaggans 2012). The training of the older period can be categorized into two parts – short-term training and long-term training. Both the short and long-term trainings are made so that the people especially the people belonging to the older generation can have a feel of the problems they are facing and also about the mode of problems that will be facing in the future.
Training is defined as the process of development of the people through various modules and techniques. The training process of the older generation involves a variety of process and procedures that help in the development of the qualities in those people that are missing (Wlodkowski and Ginsberg 2017). Short term training is defined as the training that is conducted for a short period of time, often for a maximum of some days and weeks. The short-term training procedure help the people to procure the changes that have been used to implement to them by the people of the organization. The skills that are implemented in the older training process involves the way to get into the variety of things and ways to use the things in the favour of the people. The long term training is defined as the training that has been implemented for a longer period of time and is generally considered more serious and more important than the short-term training.
The short term training mainly focusses on the facilities and modules that could have been implemented within a small amount of time while the long term training process involves training modules that should be implemented for the people with more intense problems. The tenure of the long term training modules can vary from some days to even some months according to the types and seriousness of the problem. The training module help the people cope up with the problem in a very matured way and also help them to maintain the level of knowledge they need for the better implementation of the knowledge. The training of the older generation of people involve the use of technology in which they should be trained about the different variations of technology that need to be addressed. In addition, the need for the people to make sure that the process of training is implemented is for the addition of the knowledge about the subjects that the older people do not know.
The training and teaching tactics of the older generation is absolutely different for the training and teaching techniques of the teenage and the children as their mind works in different manners making the process of training and teaching different (Ford 2014). The people belonging to the older age groups have to deal with the their own psychological pressure and world requirements along with their inclination to study and perform better in their lives which is not the case for the children. The importance of training and development in the various fields is therefore one of the most important in the manner.

Conclusion
In conclusion, it can be said that there is a huge difference in the approach to learning of the pedagogical and anagogical means and so the people who are approaching the means should be made to understand the ways in which the teaching and training should be conducted. The trainers of the older generation who are trying to implement the ways and means of the technique and are trying to make the older generation get away with the newer techniques and technologies can implement the better ways and methods of the process. In addition, the various trainings and implementations can be made sure and can be implemented in the methods related to the technique and training of the older generation. There are different strategies that should be applied in order to cater to the variations in the different characteristic features of the people belonging to the generation older than the teens. The older generation have their own set of features or characteristic features that help in the people who are training them have a better implementation of the procedures that they are enjoying. Therefore, it can be concluded that the differences in the various modes of trainings both for the adults as well as the children help them achieve the goals for the same.
