Childhood Curiosity and Character Development in Science Class
Discuss about the Learning Stories Of Science And Technology.
In this paper, the chosen age of the child is four years old female who was in her kindergarten. From the childhood, children have a specific character that shapes their personality and their decision making in the future. Two such crucial aspects observed in this four years of the female child in her science class of school. In the science class, all students were introduced to the computer by the science teacher. This child was exceptionally mesmerised about the computer and started asking questions by pointing out the different part of the computer. Moreover, she was answering a question with sincerity in than any other children. From the observation of this child, one specific character in early childhood was identified that children are curious about everything that comes into their vision, especially things related to technology.
Any children receive their primary knowledge from preschool or kindergarten which reflects in their character in future and shape their personality from early childhood (Rubin, 2017). Five E models are the best model to understand and observed children and involve them in the activities that enhance their character (Black et al., 2017). Five E defined as engage, explore, explain, elaborate, evaluate. Therefore, it is an instructional model that based on the organized approach to learning that will help children to construct new ideas with combination with old ideas for enhancing the education and learning methods as observed in this situation. This four years old female child was the student of a kindergarten of Australia. In the science class of this school, all students in the course were introduced to the computer and different parts of the computer. Few children were reluctant about this new technology, and few were busy in their activities. This four years old girl went to the teacher and suddenly started asking about CPU and mouse. Her pronunciation was not that clear but understandable.Moreover, when her science teacher asked her that whether she knew about this technology, she was this technology or not. She very confidently answered that she didn’t know but she wants to know about it, and she wants to use it. Moreover, she went near a computer and started drawing something in the paint. Majority of the children lack these characters in their early childhood and she posses these characters.
Technology plays a positive role in the development of children and their learning, especially in their early childhood. Through the use of technology, teachers have access to more innovative ideas, and they can teach students new ideas in constructive ways. The computer is one of the crucial technologies that enhance the teaching and learning of individuals in school premises (McEwan et al., 2015). In the classroom, the majority of teachers now a day’s explaining some theories of science and importance of technology through visualisation and photograph (Norooz et al., 2015). This method of learning provides children with a clear insight of science theories and technologies along. Moreover, teaching and learning using computer as efficient technology in early childhood enhances the effective communication between teachers and students (Hymel et al., 2018). Consequently, children can highlight their area of weakness and curiosities without any apprehension.
Five E Models for Enhancing Learning in Early Childhood Development
Environment has massive effect on shaping and rapid development of children in their early childhood. According to the national scientific council, children spend their waking hours in both schools and home. Therefore, environment of these two places hold huge importance in development. Healthy home environment help children to adopt important ethics and few manners that require living in decent society (Gilavand, Gilavand & Gilavand, 2016). Healthy school atmosphere help children to develop their communication and logical thinking .It enhance speaking capabilities of children in early childhood. Moreover, infants learn to share their knowledge with their peer that enhances the communication in classroom and help to construct new ideas (Maguire-Fong, 2015). Social constructivism has huge impact in teaching. Social constructivism defined as the sociological theory of knowledge which suggested that human development enhanced by working together and interacting with each other (Singer, 2017). Recent studies suggested that children are able successfully complete their new task with collaboration with adult which they found difficult at the being. Therefore, adult involved in the teaching session improve the ability of children to accomplish difficult task in guidance. Moreover, children are able to engage themselves in any activities without any apprehension that helps them to build their confidence and self-esteem. Therefore, adult should have a sound knowledge about teaching children in creative way in their early childhood.
The early year learning outcome is always positive if technology and science incorporated in their learning session. Children have the strong sense of identity if technology and science incorporated in their learning hours. By knowing about current technologies, children can contribute their ideas to the world. Children will develop the strong sense of well being in society (Moss et al., 2016). Majority of the children are not able to communicate with their peers. Science and technology classroom help them to communicate with their peer and surrounding efficiently. Moreover, children are able to involve them in new learning activities.
Parents play a crucial role in developing rational thinking in infants. However, many children are not able to grasp science accurately if the learning session only involves the oral explanation. Therefore, in early childhood parents should show pictures or any presentation to the children during explanation so that they can grasp the knowledge efficiently (Black et al., 2017). Storytelling is also an effective way of teaching children effectively. Parents should involve children in the event of telling scientific stories so that their ability of thinking enhances.
Positive Role of Technology in Teaching and Learning
As observed in this situation, this four years old female infants was mesmerised by the computer. It was pretty evident that she was curious about a new technology which is unknown to her. Curiosity is a critical feature of any human being that requires developing new ideas and exploring the different fields of knowledge. This situation suggested that she was in the early process of learning. Moreover, she was also effectively communicating with her teacher which indicated that she had confidence that will help her in future to develop new skills.
In this paper the chosen age of the child is four years old female who was in her preschool. Specific characters of any infants rapidly develop in their children through the active learning process that shapes their thinking process in future(Tang et al., 2017).e. One such specific character observed in this is four years old female in his mathematics class of preschool that mesmerised his math teacher. In the mathematic class, mathematics teacher gave everyone a subtraction by saying it is a part of the game and she was the first one to complete it. From the observation of this situation, it was evident that children have a strong ability to analyze things rapidly.
In early childhood, infants experience all kinds of dilemma and confusion regarding different subject especially mathematics that threatens their natural development of the brain. Therefore, bishop’s six mathematical models help teachers to enhance their ability in teaching child by improving their rational thinking (Cribbs et al., 2017). This model considered as accurate because it has the relationship with hypothetical thought, abstraction and enhances the problem solving capabilities of children by involving in play (Rubin, 2017). This four years old female child was a student at a kindergarten in Australia. In her mathematics class, the teacher told everyone that she would arrange a game that involves the subtraction of number. Every student present in the type participated in the game and she was the first one to answer the question with enthusiasm.
Moreover, she was communicating with her peer about the game who was unable to understand the game and unable to analyse the numeric. Her mathematics teacher was mesmerized by her ability to analyse the digital at the very early age. Most of the children lack this ability to analyse any topic related to numeric and faces the dilemma regarding it. Consequently, their rational analyzing power of brain takes time to develop.
Environment’s Effect on Shaping Children’s Early Development
Basic math skills in the early process of learning provide children to develop their logical thinking and critical analysis power of children. Fortunately, younger children are able to analyze any numerical or mathematics related problem from a very early age that shapes their critical thinking and rational decision making. In early childhood, the teachers introduce the concept of subtraction, addition and counting forward, backward. This essential skill of mathematics helps infants to use it in their daily life (Moss et al., 2016). In preschool students already learnt about the underlying theories which will help the teachers of the elementary school to focus on the application of skills. Moreover, it also enhances the common sense that infants will apply in their daily activities that before moving to the elementary school (Tang et al., 2017).
In early childhood, the environment has such a strong role in children’s development. It is usually assumed that mathematics is a language that is culture free. However, physical and social environment strongly influence the mental growth of children. Studies suggested that children who brought up with in-house who were parents take the initiative to teach basic mathematics to the children through communication become more rational about their decision making and other skills in their future. Moreover, social environment influences the children in their early childhood (Tang et al., 2017). In a healthy school environment, children effectively communicate with their peers to solve any question and participate in any numerical games that facilitate their way of communication and self-esteem. However, introducing constructivist theory in the classroom enhances the learning session of children. A majority of the children are afraid to ask their teacher about something they find critical. The sense of anxiety and depression affected their brain. However, accumulated evidence suggested that the children are able to complete any critical mathematics question with collaboration with the teacher which they found puzzling at first. Therefore, the teachers in the classroom play a massive role in developing the necessary skills of mathematics in children. Introducing those skills in the part of the play in preschool encourages children to participate (O’Rourke, Main & Hill, 2017). Subsequently, their fast learning skills easily enhance.

Children have a strong sense of identity if basic math integrated into their study. By knowing simple math techniques, children can contribute their ideas to the world and surrounding. Children will develop the strong sense of well being in a society. Majority of the children are not able to communicate with their peers(Brown, Lewis & Lamb, 2015).Pure mathematics plays incorporated in learning session of classroom help them to interact with their peer and surrounding efficiently. Moreover, children can analyse anything without any dilemma.
Early Year Learning Outcomes with Technology and Science
Parents play an important part in developing rational thinking in infants. However, many children are not able to grasp mathematics accurately if they face challenges to analyse any simple thing. Therefore, in early childhood parents should show pictures or any presentation to the children during explanation so that they can grasp the knowledge efficiently (Black et al., 2017). Giving real-life example while explaining any numerical sums will help them to understand the core of the problem. Moreover, parents should teach children by using everyday objectives to demonstrate any mathematical problem such as breaking cookies, abacus, and test flash card(Black et al., 2017). Therefore, this initiative will help children to learn without any difficulties (Brown, Lewis & Lamb, 2015).
As observed in this situation, this little girl of four years was the first person who answered the numerical question when the teacher involved every student in the play. From this situation, it was suggested that she had clear, rational thinking and critically analyse the job than any other students in the class. Moreover, the numerical question as a part of the play ease her apprehension and enhance her communication ability in the future. Teaching through the games and presentation help teachers and students to gain their academic success.
