Research Questions
Discuss about the Project Management for Apartments and Shopping Complexes.
Construction industry has been a growing industry in the market. The construction industry has been helping in building various structures including complexes, apartments and shopping complexes. It has played an important role in the development of a country all over the world. Therefore, this transition has been negatively affecting the environment. The waste material from the construction site has been creating pollution in the environment (Fellows and Liu 2015). Therefore, there has been various diseases and bad health conditions in the environment. This research has helped in identifying the problems in the construction site. This research will help in understanding the role of the environmental project in the construction industry.
Following are the research questions:
- What are the challenges in the normal project in the construction industry?
- How these challenges can be mitigated in the construction industry?
- In what ways, environmental project management in construction industry?
Research methodology is an important part of the research. It is a concept that helps in relating the research with its scientific factors and skills. The outline of the research has been helping in providing a different approach to the study. This research will focus on the quantitative methodology. This research choose positivism methodology for analyzing the scientific platform of the research (Sweet 2016). Research philosophy has been classified into two types including positivism and interpretivism. Interpretivism deals with the general knowledge of the people related to the research topic. The research will use the positivism research philosophy as it focuses in the hypothesis and the research questions of the study.
This research will use deductive approach for maintaining a keen approach to the study (Zhou, Goh and Li 2015). Research approach is categorized into two types including inductive and deductive approach. The deductive approach will help on focusing on the objectives and research question of the study. The impact the environmental projects on the construction industry has been discussed in the research with the help of the deductive approach. This approach will help in deducting all other information irrelevant to the research topic. Data and information about the construction industry will be selected from huge data sources using the deductive approach. This approach might help in maintaining a deducting all their theories and expectations that are not related to the research study (Kucukvar and Tatari 2013). Therefore, study related to the research topic will be analysed in the study. The research will use the descriptive research design that will help in describing the importance of the research design in the study (Latiffi et al 2013). The research design is of three types including explanatory, exploratory and descriptive design. The use of the descriptive design helps in providing an outline of the research design in which overall study will depend. The descriptive will help in providing a clear approach to the design of the research (Pink, Tutt and Dainty 2012).
Research Methodology
Data and information will be collected from both primary quantitative and qualitative method. The quantitative primary data collection method include raw data collected from online survey. Therefore, online survey questionnaire will be created using the Google Forms. There will be 10 close-ended questions included in the survey questionnaire. Survey questions will be focused on the research questions and objectives. Online survey will be conducted by taking 55 employees of the construction industry (Neuman 2014). The sample size will be decided by using random sampling method. The qualitative primary data will be collected by conducting interview session with three managers of the construction companies. There will be three open-ended questions asked during the interview session with the managers. Interview questions will be depended and related to the research questions initiated at first. The views and answers of the managers during the interview will be collected as data and information for the research.
Collected data and information will be analysed using qualitative and quantitative data analysis method. Data collected from survey will be analysed using the quantitative data analysis method. Likert Scale will be used for analyzing data and information related to the research topic. The data will be provided on tables and charts (Silverman 2016). The data collected from interview will be analysed using the qualitative data analysis method. The use of the tables and charts will help in maintaining an easy understandable platform for understanding the research outcomes and results. The outcomes and results of study cam be presented using the Likert Scale ranging from 1 to 5. This will create a clear picture of the study and its outcomes as data will be published using graphs and tables.
There will be various ethical considerations included in the research. The researcher will proceed in the study using the Data Protection Act 1998. This act will help in maintaining the security of the data and information of the participants in the survey. The use of the data and information in the research will not be tampered in any case before the completion of the research. The results and outcomes of research will not be published until the completion of the research. There will be various limitations in the research. The data collection method might face ethical issues related to the use of the database of mobile application. Copyright policy and data standardization act might restrict in collecting data from database of the mobile application. However, the researcher has convinced the authority for using the database as the purpose pf the research is genuine. The impact the environmental projects on the construction industry has been discussed in the research with the help of the deductive approach (Flick 2015). This approach will help in deducting all other information irrelevant to the research topic. The survey might not be properly arranged and the answers provided by the participants might not be correct. Participants might provide a hypothetical and random answers to the questions included in the survey questionnaire. Data and information about the construction industry will be selected from huge data sources using the deductive approach. The time and budget of the research might be a major limitation for the researcher. The timeline of the research might not be sufficient for the researcher. The budget of the research might not be sufficient for the completion of the research.

The outcome of the research is expected to be positive for the research problems. The research questions have been prepared according to the research problems. The use of proper research methodology has been helping in maintaining a proper approach to the completion to the research. The expected outcome of the research will be that the impact of the environmental project management in the construction industry has been properly maintained. The use of the research methodology and the methods proposed in the plan. The appropriate tools including LikertScale will be used in the data analysis part of the research.
