The main objective of writing the morning pages is to plan the upcoming events in the same day whether consciously or not. Morning pages are not at all like journaling which is already pre- decided but morning pages are written in a free form. Morning page also help a person to get up early. Morning pages open a lot of windows for a person to get more personal time for herself or himself which is the best thing. Sometimes when a person writes morning pages then the past memories may arise and writing them in the morning pages is very beneficial for anyone because after that they will be able to claim their past by being strong, and reframe it the way they like and in the end they can also integrate their past accordingly.
According to some people morning pages are a “viable form of meditation” because they allow thinking about the past, present and the future. There are many other tools such as, secret selves, listening to the chorus, inner mentor etcetera that can be very beneficial for the person in order to develop their inner strengths and nurture them and then allows the person to feel an inner power. In the set 1 exercise according to the first exercise which is getting engaged in the activities according to the morning pages and other tools on the BB. All those tools are really beneficial in the process of leadership. Morning pages are a great way to lay out the whole day and the tasks to be done in the day. This is a great initiative to be a great leader because it allows one to do their work in a systematic way. This way an individual will be able to work in a much integrated way. It provides a major strength in the process of becoming a leader.
Walking to wisdom allows one to one to walk for 20 minutes thrice a week. This exercise also plays a major role in the leadership process. It is a great way to get the brain working because it opens up so many windows to new and creative ideas. Although the results of this exercise were not as expected due to poor management. It is one of the major weaknesses and shows poor management. In the process of leadership this is a very important process and requires to be completed accordingly. Therefore not completing it, is one of the greatest weakness of a leader.
Goals and strategies to improve leadership competence
Reading is another exercise in the leadership process. Reading any book and daily reviewing it can be really helpful. It was a great exercise during this process because a great leader is required to observe everything and then review it. A good amount of success was observed in this activity.
other exercise such as value clarification exercise and vision statement were also very beneficial and plays a major role as the strengths of a leader. These exercises also helped to develop an aim and also provided clarifications towards the target goal.
Hobby finding tools and taking time outs are the great way to recognize the inner strengths and hidden skills. Both these activities provide a great amount of personal time and allows one to focus on themselves in a much better and peaceful way.
Media deprivation is also a great activity to divert mind from useless things but the results of this activity were not so great. This is a great weakness which shows lack of concentration power.
The fraud complex also explains one’s insecurities and lack of self-confidence around many other people.
So many changes have been experienced lately, such as setting goals and following them. Morning pages writing has also been included in the daily life routine. Some realizations were also experienced such as fear of failing in taking new risks and trying new things. Exercise 3 also helped to make some changes in daily life.
