Contemporary Theories of Instructional Leadership
According to contemporary theories of instructional leadership, contemporary understandings of governance are no longer beneficial and therefore should be discarded because contemporary leadership necessitates officials to be “more relational, more responsive, more compassionate, and more inspiring of others, more open, extra communicative, and far more reflective.” On reflection on the first class and after integrating the material from the concepts which were discussed, I determined that the traits of leadership, the abilities of leadership, as well as the path-goal leadership theories are the ones with which I most strongly agree. These ideas are centred on the leader, and they describe the process and strategies that a leader use to achieve objectives. The decisions and relationships with others get more significance as a result of this process, which also serves to foster a continuous discourse that promotes personal progress (CNB News, 2015).
Further, I’ve grown to understand myselves in a level that I wasn’t previously aware of. I’ve come to terms with the fact that the self-knowledge and self-clarity I’ve gained as a result of my life narrative have an influence on the way I perceive the world and the choices I make. Throughout my life, I have gained a better understanding of how my principles have been shaped by various situations, people, and decisions that I have made at various points in my life. My standards and moral views also influence the judgments I make, serving as a moral compass for my activities as a leader and guiding me through my decisions.
Strategic Management is one of the topics that I most love taking. There are various strategic ideas brought to life in this course, which is an intriguing course to take. Enterprises with a strong focus on strategic management are all very successful organizations. This is due to the fact that they trust in their ability to succeed (Afsar & Umrani, 2019). It is their opinion that an organization should strive so long as the organization is well-versed in planning (Alcázar & Fernández, 2013). In order to attain future goals, strategic management entails the process of developing, executing, and assessing corporate strategies (Aryee, Walumbwa, & Seidu, 2016). This encompasses any and all actions that contribute to the attainment of the organization’s goals. In order to do this, a fundamental necessity for achieving this goal is the establishment of plans, activities, and strategies to achieve it (Brady, Kamvounias, & Taylor, 2015).

The Importance of Self-Knowledge and Self-Clarity
Making decisions is a critical talent to have in today’s society if I want to be successful. Throughout the course of a day, a person makes several decisions, such as what to eat for supper, what clothing to wear, and whether or not to start a new engagement (Hammer, 2015). Decisions, no matter how basic or complicated, have an influence on our everyday life. In order to make informed decisions, it is necessary to understand my own decision-making process. This article will examine my own psychological discernment as well as the effect of my history and present on my decision-making skills and how they have influenced and improved my decision-making capabilities. In addition, I will consider how my own personal situation can affect my prospective customers’ decisions.
Reflective decision-making is a method of organized thinking that may be used to help I analyze my choice more thoroughly. It entails keeping an open mind, being truthful, and exercising self-awareness in order to reflect on my decision-making process rather than the conclusion itself (Chong, Bian, & Zhang, 2016). We get preoccupied with the result, as I already said. We misinterpret this as a guideline for evaluating the decision we are about to make (Chonko & Hunt, 2018). When chance or luck plays a role in a choice that results in a great outcome, the cruel fact is that we tend to take credit for it. This is a false narrative, in which we are the primary writers, and we must stop it.
At one point in my career, I believed that performance management was all about controlling a subordinate’s performance in reference to the performance targets that were agreed upon at the start of the calendar year. During our meeting we would do an evaluation using the appraisal procedure, give a grade, devise a development plan and submit both an evaluation and a development plan to Human Resources for record-keeping reasons (Banihani & Syed, 2017). My idea of what performance management includes, on the other hand, has undergone a slight change in perspective. While it still includes the elements listed above, I’ve come to realize that it goes far deeper than that. Managers are responsible for providing coaching to employees who are not performing to the standards expected of them. When done appropriately, it may aid in the development of people’s talents and abilities, as well as their overall performance. It will enable the employee to recognize their own deficiencies, as well as discover and put into action appropriate remedies.
Alliances and partnerships have always been a part of human history, and they can be found in all aspects of life, from the private to the public, from politics to commerce. A number of factors have motivated companies to collaborate with partners from other nations, enterprises, or within their value chains, including the desire to grow or the necessity to reduce costs. The advantages of risk sharing and resource pooling, as well as the convergence of technologies, industry deconstruction, and information transfer have all contributed to the acceleration of partnership development in recent years. Strategic partnerships invariably involve challenges that must be resolved quickly in order to ensure the alliance’s long-term viability and success, such as the isolation of proprietary knowledge, the processing of multiple knowledge flows, the establishment of adaptive governance, and the operation of global virtual teams (Dries, 2013).
The Significance of Strategic Management
Organizational transformation is a subject of study that I am particularly interested in. Over the last decade, I’ve grown more interested in organizational change leadership, which I consider as a topic that is especially influenced by the interrelationships between organizational change studies and leadership studies, as well as by the work of others in the area (Jung & Yoon, 2011). As the concepts of leading change and change leadership have captured the attention of both society and organizations, this concentration has been profitable, but it has also proven to be irritating at times. To be effective in organizational change leadership, I have had to interact in a meaningful way with two separate disciplines of study that influence organizational change leadership: organizational change studies and leadership studies.
Everything I need to know about managing my time and resources. Businesses aren’t unfamiliar with the concept of control or controlling strategies. They have been in business for almost as long as the company itself. Controlling is vital since even the greatest of us can make improvements. Control involves the integration of information and action. It is the process of steering a group of variables in the direction of preset goals or outcomes. Controlling consists in ensuring that everything proceeds in accordance with the plans that have been chosen, the directions that have been given, and the principles that have been created (Afsar & Umrani, 2019). According to me, the primary job of the management team in this situation is to ensure that the outcomes generated are precisely in accordance with the goals and that none of them is a waste or otherwise unusable in the natural environment. This role of the organization’s management is referred to as the ‘Controlling’ responsibility in certain circles.
It is a very helpful management function or tool because it guarantees that activities are consistent with the desired outcomes by using appropriate feedback mechanisms to ensure that the desired results are achieved. This procedure also entails fixing any time variances in order to guarantee that the products are delivered on schedule and at a cost that is consistent with the criteria set forth in the project plan. The fact that planning is absolutely vital in order to get control should not be overlooked; that is, control cannot be acquired without preparing the many aspects of the situation. Because we will not be aware of the objectives to be reached, the resources that will be made available, the different issues that will need to be addressed, and so on, it will be impossible to proceed with the process in an orderly fashion.
