Overview of Android Operating System
The android operating system can be considered as a mobile operating system which is developed by the Google which is also known as the GOOGL (Khandelwal and Mohapatra 2015). The primary focus point which is related to the operating system is to provide touch screen devices, tablets and cell phones. The main sector which is related to the design of the concept can be directly be related to the aspect of manipulation in the sector of the innovation of the android technology is related to the mobile devices taking into consideration the phone interaction that are mirror to the common emotions which is related to the swiping, pinching and tapping. In addition to the conceit of the mobile devices Google directly employs the aspect of television into the concept and many other devices such as the wristwatches, cars and many more (Pon, Seppälä and Kenney 2014). It can be stated here that each of the devices have a unique interface which is related to the concept.
The main aspect which is taken into consideration in the report is the sector of the technological development which is related to the android operating system and taking into consideration different functionality which is related to the concept majorly in the field of success of the technology and the different disruption in the technology.
The android operating system was first developed by the android, Inc and software organisation which is located in the Silicon Valley before actually Google acquired the technology. Since the involvement of the Google in the technology it is one of the biggest question in the context that the main intention behind Google. Soon after Google took control of the technology the company announced the first operating system and long with that few years later the android power deice was launched. There are different type of advantage which is related to the concept of the android due to the factor that many software and application can bee developed with the use of the android and it can be directly be sold with the help of different platform which is related to the concept like the Google play. Due to the factor that the application and the software are developed with the help of the Google product, the android user are given with the direct opportunity to directly link their mobile devices with the other product of the Google for example the email, cloud storage and services which are related to the video streaming aspect.
The concept of the development of the Android was very much crucial in the sector of creation of new rivalry in the sector of the manufacturer of the smartphone with the technology of the Apple serving as one of the most impotent competitors of the organisation. it can be stated here that there was an increase popularity of the system and this concept was directly related to different type of lawsuits and the latest one of the them can be related to the oracle which directly claimed that Google unlawfully used the different API’s which is related to the java for the aspect of the development of the software which were used widely in the concept of the android phones (‘Reilly-Shah and Mackey 2016). According to recent survey it can be stated that the android system was very much cheaper as compared to other competitors such as the Apple. Still it can be stated that the concept of the android operating system is at the verge of development and in the near future it would be accruing more market area and would be reaching more number of customer increasing their customer base and standard.
Technological Development of Android Operating System
In the sector of any technological success there are always certain factor which can be considered as disruption in the technology. One of the major disruption which can be related to the concept is the complexity from the end of the developers. It can be stated here that due to the complexity in the sector of the coding of the technology it can be stated that if there are any type of issue detection in the operation it is usually very much difficult to mitigate the issue. On the other hand another factor which can be stated here is the quality of the application which is available in the market place of the android such as the play store. The application development in the concept of the android is free of cost so it can be stated that anyone can easily indulge into the concept (Irwansyah et al. 2015). Comparing the concept of the android with the iOS it can be stated that the iOS is a paid platform and the people have to pay a certain amount in order to get the different features which is related to the concept.
The main success factor which is related to the android operating system is the cost which is involved into the compared. It can be stated here that it one of the most affordable operating system relating to the common people so that it is very much easy for them to get involved into the concept. Relating to other operating system it can be stated that it is very much expensive and it can be stated as cost are getting increased as time is moving. One of the example which can be related to the concept is that of a user wants some sort of application for software the user can easily get those form the play store (Ranganath et al. 2015). The play store is an area in the android were all the application and different type of software are readily available for the user to use them.
In the sector of the reduction of the cost it can be stated that there are different factor which can be related to the aspect of the quality of the product which is delivered to the customer or the user. Product in this context merely means the applications and the software which can be used by the people. Sometimes it can be seen that people usually pay for some feature and the interface which is related to the concept is not very much satisfying (Khandelwal and Mohapatra 2015). Functionality failure can be another point which can be stated here that in most of the cases different type of intrusion can be involved into the concept which would be directly impacting the sector of the operation of the system.
