The role of regional and organizational innovation systems to TLE
Discuss about the Tourism, Leisure and Event Management for TLE Businesses.
TLE or Tourism, Leisure and Event management are primarily focused on the leisure of the common people. The term leisure is referred to as the quality of the travelling experience throughout the country (Papatheodorou 2016). People are often seen as interested in spending their leisure time in attractive locations. This paper is going to elaborate on assessing the roles of the regional and organisation innovation systems to TLE and the relation in between the entrepreneurship, innovation and technology in TLE. It would also shed light on how the technology and innovation could benefit the host destination (focal campus) and how technology could be used as a driving force for the sustainability in TLE. The paper would also discuss about the way TLE businesses effectively manage the process of innovation and about the TLE related stakeholders along with their roles in the adoption of innovation.
The role of regional and organisational innovation systems to TLE- One of the best innovation systems in the modern world is the Quick Response Code (QR code). It is also regarded as the best technological implementation for the organizations. It is an automated process that detects the relation of the webpage (Schaffer 2015). Hence, the customers today do not need to put the web addresses of the pages in order to search any information. They just now scan the link which directly takes them to their desired webpage. According to (), the organizations are now also providing the website link in their brochures so that the customers could easily avail their services through their online websites. However, it is also to note that the tourists do not show that much of interest in searching the links for acquiring detailed information regarding their preferred rides and banquets from TLE. QR code gives the tourists and the other customers to get an opportunity to gain detailed knowledge regarding different events and tour packages (Jin and Sparks 2017). Hence, this technology has assisted the organisations in obtaining competitive advantage.
The links between technology, innovation and entrepreneurship in TLE- According to Albastroiu and Felea (2015), QR code is one of the latest technologies that is now used by all the organisations in advertisements, packages or leaflets and brochures. The smartphone users now can simply scan those codes and get the necessary information about the ones that they need in details. However, it is also to state that one of the most significant advantages of the QR code is that the users or the customers do not need to type any kind of URL addresses in the brochure. They could just simply scan the provided advertisement which in turn gives them an east and immediate access to the website of the organisations where they can see the service and product specifications in detail. Furthermore, in this context Santos (2015) has stated that many firms have made use of the QR codes in their product and service advertisements as the consumers could access the website of the brand directly from QR code. Hence, the technology of the QR code plays a very important role in entrepreneurship in the organisations’ marketing strategies. It has also increased the popularity and brand value of the companies.
Links between technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship in TLE
TLE-related stakeholders and the role they play in the adoption of innovation- Tourists are considered to be the most important external stakeholder of a tourism organisation, whereas the tour guides, agents and the employees are considered to be the internal stakeholders of the same. The research and the development team of an organisation implements technological innovation in an organization and the marketing team implements new marketing strategy in order to publish QR codes in the company’s digital advertisement and in the social media advertisements. Research and development team implements individual QR codes for each and every services of an organisation and then they place picture gallery, videos, the details of packaging inclusive of the rates and the tourists’ feedback in the QR codes. This made the customers to directly search about their interested packages. Almost each and every organisation have implemented the QR codes for their company website to let the customers scan the QR code and reach company websites. Now-a-days, the customers have lost their patience of long processes and this smart technological implementation in the companies has reinforced the relationship in between the clients, tourists and organisations.
How innovation and technology can benefit the host destination- There are many organisations in the present world of innovation that have implemented innovation technologies in their business operations for attracting the global travellers towards their businesses. The market value of each of these organisations are been increasing with a rapid pace with these implementations. The technology of QR code has greatly attracted the global customers and tourists and they have been highly satisfied with this technology implementation as this has made their work and searching process very easy and convenience (Angeloni 2016). It has also helped the organisations in their expansion to the host destinations and countries. It is to note that the tourists globally prefer focal campus and the good service provided by the TLE. Hence, the technology of QR would help the travellers and the tourists for gathering information about different services and products of the companies. In this way this new and innovative technology would assist the organisation in expanding the businesses in the host country.
How can technology are used as a driving-force for sustainability in TLE- the TLE is inclusive of different kind of pictures from the adventure activities and from the wedding ceremonies in their advertisement as because of the fact that it is very expensive (Choudhary et al. 2016). There is also another technique that is adopted by the organisation and that is of combining the playlists and the greeting cards which in turn has helped in the making of the posters extremely interesting and attractive at the same time. It is also to mention that the organisations around the world has have provided its customers many offers via the technology of QR codes (Tulk 2018). With the same, the organisations have also added the feedback of the clients regarding their experiences through the customer feedback videos in their advertisement. This helps in making the new and potential customers to feel the true experience through the experience feedback of other tourists. In this way, the companies also gain market preference and brand value in the market through making the use of QR codes. This implementation in the companies would also help them to sustain in their very nation as because of the fact that customers are likely to be attracted towards the latest and innovative technologies (Hair et al. 2015). Hence, it is to state that technology implementation in the workplace would improve the organisational situation.
TLE-related stakeholders and the role they play in the adoption of innovation
How can TLE businesses effectively manage innovation? – The TLE businesses are dependent on the presentation of the company, the tourist spot and the services that the company provides. The market value of the TLE Company is based on its services (Larson et al. 2016). Hence, the innovation technology in TLE improves the organisational service. The customers and tourists would get detailed information simply from the QR codes. It would help the tourists to watch the video directly from the Youtube. Hence, it can be said that the TLE business has implemented technical innovation for attracting the customers and to provide better services to them.
Conclusion
From the above discussion, it can be concluded that with the implementation of the technology of QR codes in the businesses of the TLE, the tourists all over the world can now get detailed information from those QR codes. The tourist now could watch the video equipped with tourists; feedbacks directly from the Youtube. Hence, the business of TLE has implemented technical innovation in order to attract more number of global customers towards its business and so as to provide them better service as well. This technology has also enabled the customers to gather information and knowledge about the attractive tour packages as well as any upcoming events.
