Then support that decision with as many sections of both the Code and Standards as are applicable to support/reference your decision. It is essential that you explain why you have made the decision that you have using the Code and Standards. You must also explain why you believe the sections you have chosen are applicable to the situation.
This way was chosen to deal the situation effectively:

According to “Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice” and “Reflecting ethical conduct”, a professional who is an early year educator should be always supporting the bond between the family and the child. He or she should also respect the diversity as well as the uniqueness of the children as well as the families. Therefore, as one such professional, I should try hard to take good decisions that would prevent myself from harming the feelings of the child and also maintain his self-worth at the same time supporting the beliefs of the family and respecting their cultural traditions. Therefore, the procedure that I have chosen would help me to overcome the ethical dilemma and help to overcome the barriers among teacher, parents and child. I would also educate the other students abut the topic of diversity of cultures and participate in explaining to them the reason why some may participate in birthday parties but others may not.
Therefore, depending on these codes of ethics, I have included three of the most relevant codes of ethics and two important core values that can be applied to the scenario that would be helpful in dealing with the situation effectively.
