Unless one is able to listen properly they will not be able to convey the reply or the answer to that what has been said through the conversation. Clarity is also one of the most important aspects of an effective communication.
Narrative skills are one of the important literacy skills. Literacy is often seen through the transparency and the clarity with which individuals are being able to express their feelings and their judgments.
Decision making power and cooperation are some of the basic things that then Individuals will need for the purpose of solving any problems coming in their way.
Cooperation is one of the key to become a good team worker.

One has to make sure that they are not telling anything demeaning about the religious, cultural or social belief of others. People must not show any disrespect towards the race, gender or socio cultural background of any individual.
2. What is a cross-cultural misunderstanding and how can you find a resolution?
Cross cultural misunderstanding is one of the major consequences of lack of proper awareness among people. There are people who suffer from a feeling of disrespect towards some particular religion or particular races. On the other hand the western people name the person who has departed as a matter of respect. They believe that this will help the friends, close ones and the families to remember them.
3. How may Aboriginal funerals differ to western ones?
The Aboriginals believe that there is life after death and the world has been made by spirits. Thus, they do not pronounce the name of the departed person as a show of respect
4. What is the name of the Act that covers anti-discrimination legislation?
- Age Discrimination Act 2004.
- Disability Discrimination Act 1992
- Racial Discrimination Act 1975.
5. What disabilities may result in discrimination?
A person who cannot walk might be insulting a wheelchair. He can be late at office in comparison to someone who is physically sound. The office might not consider the disability and might start discriminating between the two. Therefore can also be cases of salary deductions.

6. What is mediation and how can it be used to address disputes?
Mediation is the process though which a third party intervenes and solves any disputes. If there is very bad dispute between two people and the quarrel is not reaching to any solution. It is during such occasions that people often need a third party to solve this issue.

A white skin people can talk about the views that he has against some practices of other cultures but at the same time there will be respect and tolerance in their communication.
4. If foreigners cannot understand your attempts at their language, how else can you communicate?
I can use sign language or I can switch over to non verbal forms of communication. I will also consider taking help from any translators.

I will be calling the linguists and some experts who have studies regarding the cultures of other tribes. I will consider taking help from any expert anthropologist.
6. When can cultural misunderstandings occur?
Cultural misunderstanding can mainly occur due to the lack of proper awareness among people.

I will have to make sure that there is proper awareness among people based on the social and cultural differences among people.
8. How could a hard work ethic be interpreted differently?
One of the hard work ethics can be maintaining punctuality. Employees might think that the management is being too harsh with them. They might feel that the company is not being kind with them even during their emergencies.
9. In terms of communication conventions, how are Aborigines different to Westerners?
The aboriginals have different language and they often feel hesitant in dealing with the westerners. This is because their dialect is different than the westerners.

I might seek input from any elders or my teachers who will be helping me to understand the right ways of communication. I migh also tske jelp from a translator who will help me in understanding how to communicate properly.
2. How do you take into consideration cultural differences in all verbal and non-verbal communication?
I have to taken into consideration that there are lot of differences in the socio economic backgrounds of people. I must never make any statements that go beyond the cultural or the religious belief of the people belonging to some other ethnic backgrounds.
3. How does communication help to develop and maintain positive relationships, mutual trust and confidence?
Communication is the key to solve all problems. Without proper communication one cannot understand any problem nor find out any relevant solution to it. The communication must be very clear and transparent so that none of the involved stakeholders face any problem.
4. What basic strategies can help to overcome language barriers?
In order to overcome the language barriers, I have to take help from a translator. I can also undertake some classes that will enable me in overcoming the issue that I face in speaking in some other languages. Constant practice will help me to deal with this issue.
