Brief Report
CUST is a Glasgow based modern university in with the motivation to become the best technology campus in Scotland. The college was situated in 2002 and has recognized itself as a leading college in technology and science research. Having attracted recognized and well-known experts in the field, CUST is currently embarking on the progress of a state-of-the-art hi-tech automation laboratory in the Scottish Enterprise Knowledge Park just over Glasgow in East Kilbride. The first phase of project development is to progress a high-level design for the following actions, including the projected time plan, staff involvement and financial plan for every main task (Pantoji et al. 2021). In this project, the project teams are suffering from certain constraints, which are mentioned below-
- Resources must be duplicated. Check and change predecessors of all succeeding tasks affected due to this modification.
- The Purchase Manager is on planned yearly leave from 8th August to 2nd September 2022; consequently, the project group has agreed the ‘Equipment and Software procurement must start ‘no previous than’ 5th September 2022.
This project time plan will permit the project management group to exactly plan resource requirements and search for resource competencies within the plan. For instance, getting a similar team to complete 2 tasks concurrently or plotting unconventional routes over the project timetable if there are interruptions with one task to exploit resource use and decrease delays.
