Project portfolio management is a centralized management of the different methods and processes associated with a project and further helps in analysing the process by which the project evaluate analyses the changes in the project.

The project and the portfolio management is a centralized management process that is used by the project managers in collectively managing the key characteristics of the current as well as the proposed projects. The project and the portfolio management helps in easier documentation of the project progress and easier project sustainability.
