(Nswnma.asn.au, 2018).
They provide spontaneous and active support in disasters and crisis situations 100 % of the time to minimize the social psychological emotional and economic impact of disaster or crisis.
The organization has also been advocating and promoting the need for enhanced investments in the disaster risk reduction and community resilience to combat any crisis situations more effectively and spontaneously. In the last year the organization has achieved the success of increasing 4-fold national investment by government corporate and other not for profit organizations in the disaster risk reduction and community resilience.

The organization also provides the nurse volunteers to become a leader in their community and provide humanitarian aid and support to those in need. Along with their also several nursing student scholarships, such as Jane Delano student nurse scholarship that provides the nursing students the opportunity to get associated with Red Cross; honoring the memory of Jane Delano, the principal organizer of Red Cross nursing services leading more than 20000 nurses that served the world war 1 period.
