The Concept of Critical Disclosure Analysis and Workplace Communication

The critical disclosure analysis is a social approach that helps in viewing the linguistic behaviour which the people follow at their workplace. The CDA plays an important role in presenting the view with the scholars and others to manage good and healthy relationship. It helps in analysing the critical linguistic behaviour of the participating units. The social and economic issues can be resolved with the application of linguistic behaviour. The sharing of information helps in influencing the critical behaviour of the manager. The cooperation and coordination among the processes and the participating units can be effectively drawn with the implication of communicating language (Talwalker, 2013). The strong links can be developed for analysing the purpose of the processes undertaken.
The communication can be effectively handled by analysing the requirement of the audience and their applicability to understand their language. The principle of cooperation should be followed for managing communication through language between various conducting units (Wang, 2013). The effectiveness of the communication can be measured on the basis of critical thinking behaviour of the manager. The four area of communication should be identified for analysing the amount of information which is used for passing adequate amount of knowledge to the participants, quality of information provided to them, relevancy of data with the communicating process, and the methodology opted for conducting the effective communication (Norman, 2013).
Mr. Barack Obama has thrown a speech in the joint session of congress in present of vice president, congress members, and Americans. He wants to throw light on the economic crisis faced by the job seekers due to political issues with the working party in government. The American people does not want to look on the political issues, they want the president to take action in the real life problems. Obama focused that people had to work hard to earn a livelihood for their family so that they can afford education, food, and living standard to their family (King, 2017). The men and women should be paid reasonable amount of money for their work and responsibilities. The concerned of the people is to get a country which is free from biased and everyone should be awarded with the fair share of their work. The loyalty of the persons should be rewarded with good salary.
The discourse of the Barack Obama was that he signifies the work of the Americans which help in developing a country towards gaining successful economic condition for the people. He explained that people should work hard to resolve the financial crisis of the nation by taking responsibility for giving their best in the worse working environment also (The New York Times, 2011). He questioned that why the political parties of the country does not able to provide security and fairness in the working condition of the common people. He asked the question to the government from the side of local people that whether they are able to provide the healthy working condition to their own people. He acknowledge that the economy of the nation depends in the hand of the businesses growth and the capability of the workers to show their best at working spot. He asked the member of congress to put their views on the American Job act. He clearly present his ideas in favour to the American people to the congress members to pass and develop an act for American Job seeker so that they can lead a prosperous and fruitful life which helps in increasing the GDP of the nation. The new jobs opening should be created for teachers, workers, doctors, and other Job seekers. He addressed to small business organization to hire new workers so that they can get a tax break for their enterprise. The tax can be deducted by the payroll of the workers. It helps in improving the economic condition of the people and also uplifting the performance of the small organization by providing quality product to the customers with the minimum amount of price. The audience get affected by the speech of Obama. He was able to win the confidence of common people by addressing their basic problem which they face due to no earning source to live their life comfortably (Roueau, 2011). The new thought of job act draws the attention of the target audience to enhance their working ability. The new idea helps in developing the bridge between the economic growth of the nation and upgrading the living standard of the common people by undertaking the project of developing 35000 new schools for the growth of the nation. The speech of Obama built a direct relationship with the common people who are searching for new job opportunity.
Barack Obama’s Speech on Economic Crisis
The president of Volkswagen has drafted a letter to the shareholders to present the view of working condition of the company. The disclosures of the report content are the profit shares earned by the company in one financial year, and political and economic issues which are associated with the growth of the company (Breesze, 2011). He predicted that the company will achieve its milestone earlier than expected. He reveals that the sale revenue earned by the company is equivalent to $ 202.5 billion and the operating profit earned by the company is equivalent to $ 12.7 billion. The sustainability of the company depends upon the reliability procedures undertaken by the company to flourishes their job. The president of the company highlighted that the company is able to achieve a relevant amount of return on investment, return on equity, and return on assets. The company is able to achieve the long term success plan even in the unfavourable condition. The key performance indicators are placed for knowing the satisfaction level of the customers with new design of Audi, SKODA, Passet, and others. The widest range of toolkit is provided to our customers. He focused that they are expanding their delivery in various other countries such as China, India, and others. The addition of new market helps in exploring the growth of the company with profit. He presented an example of companies growth that they have a strength of 590,000 employees to get the effective result for the company in satisfying the customer demand by adding new feature to the car model (Hagos, 2014).
He pursued his strategic plan for 2018 that he is looking forward to expand his business with the countries of Brazil and Russia for the increasing sale of their product. They are going to develop car models which have the ability to pass the law of Co2 legislation (Fornkwa, 2016). The digitization of the online showroom of the cars has increased the growth rate of the company because the people can get the relevant amount of information from the company’s website. It helps in adding new customers towards the organization. The development of the new features increases the cost of the product. In the concluding remark of his speech, he said that the three pillars of the company’s growth are financial strength of the enterprise, innovation, and competitiveness in getting best quality product for our customers.
The information is transcript by the presenter in their own way of sharing information. The critical disclosure analysis of the two medium helps in analysing the linguistic medium chosen for communication with the participating target audience. In the speech of Obama, a concern for the job seekers is raided to present them new job opening for their growth which in turn raises the economic condition of the organization. The quality of the arguments presented by the Obama in his speech can be measured by the acceptance of it by the local people of Australia. He shares his experience in relation to the political issues which are the main hindrance in creating new jobs for the youth in the area of teaching, doctors, and others. The strength of the speech depends on the position of President which Obama holds for the growth of his nation. The same wordings presented by any common people than it does not leave the same impact. The social status of the speaker plays an important role in the acceptance of speech among the listener.
Volkswagen’s Growth and Key Performance Indicators
The president of the Volkswagen company has constructed his report for the shareholders on the basis of facts and figures which demonstrate the growth of the company for the previous financial year and the strategic plan for the next financial year. In his report, he focuses on the current state of the enterprise and the area of concern for improvement.
The quality of the Obama’s speech can be enhanced by pointing out the data related to the job seekers and the provision for the new working platform. The statistical data in the Volkswagen report helps in analysing the facts and figures for measuring the profit of the organization. The report does not focuses on the clear aspect of new policies framework for expanding their business in the countries of Russia, Brazil, and India. The verdict of the president message is not adequate to give correct information about areas of expansion. The construction of the speech and reports should be based on the statistical data because the critical demonstration of the statistical data helps in winning the acceptance of it in the receiver. The disclosure of information of Obama and President of Volkswagen is relevant for their target audience i.e. Local people of Australia and customers respectively. The arguments presented by Obama and President of the Volkswagen company are clear and precise. The goal is to achieve the confidence of the target audience. The views and criteria should be taken under consideration while developing the arguments of the speech and report so that correct information should be transmitted to the target audience according to their area of concern. It helps in building strong and effective impact on the mental state of the audience. The success of the speech and report depends on the written language used for imparting linguistic communication with the target audience. The disclosure of the information should be transmitted in the language which is easily understandable by the target audience. The proper communication should be built between the speaker and the audience through the efficient use of language.
The speech is the better medium to express the views and ideas with the target audience because the emotional feeling gets attacked with the speaker in the verdict which he passes for the betterment of the audience. The audience get affected with the language which they can easily understand for the disclosure of information from the speaker.

The quality of the arguments presented by the Obama in his speech and the Volkswagen president report can be measured by the acceptance of it by their target audience group. On the concluding remark, we can analyse that the speech is the better medium to express the views and ideas with the target audience because it is a face to face interaction with the audience. The face expression of the participating units and their responses helps in measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of the speech presented by the speaker. The strength of the speech depends on the position hold by the speaker in the society for disclosing the information for the growth of the target audience. The principle of cooperation should be followed for managing communication through language between various conducting units. The effectiveness of the communication can be measured on the basis of critical thinking behaviour of the manager in reflecting their views to the receiver. The construction of the speech and reports should be based on the statistical data because the critical demonstration of the statistical data helps in winning the acceptance of it in the receiver. In the above scenario, the disclosure of information of Obama and President of Volkswagen is relevant for their target audience i.e. Local people of Australia and customers respectively. The social and economic issues can be resolved with the application of linguistic behaviour of the presenter.
