Business Case
The introduction of the information system in the field of infrastructure technology has brought about a huge development in the business of various organization. The report deals with the description of one such organization. The organization that is the main drive of this report is the Fast Drivers Organization. It is a newly created driving lessons service company that provides the clients with the facility to book a lesson online.
The report consists of the detailed analysis and discussions about the new website that the organization is looking to develop. The report provides the discussion about the business case and the benefits. Some important data about the schedule and the cost for the implementation of the system is also provide in this report and all the discussion are accompanied with the illustrations such as UML diagrams and interface diagrams.
The Fast Drivers organization is looking to develop a website for customers so that they can easily access it from their mobile devices. The customers of the organization would be able to book a driving lesson from the website just by entering their details and the credit cards details. They would also be provided the opportunity to create an account for themselves for any type of booking that the customers want to make. They are to be provided with the option of confirm their booking on a preferred day or time. The system should check the availability of the instructors and suggest an alternate time to the customers. I have been assigned with the task of designing and developing system for the organization within three week time.
The business benefits that the organization would gain from the development of the website are:
- The organization would be able to able to reduce the response time for their clients.
- An automated system would be enabled for the organization and this would allow the organization to maintain and update data efficiently.
- This would increase the customer satisfaction as this would help the customer to get information easily.
- The website would also reduce the amount of work that the staffs of the organization had to perform and this effect the moral of the staffs and increase the overall satisfaction level of the staffs.
The main scope of the project is that the system that is being developed should be able to add or create a new customer to the system, the system should also be able to check the availability of the drivers of the system. The system should also be able to provide the customers with the detailed invoice and also book alternate dates in case an instructor is unavailable. Additionally, the project should also be completed in 3 weeks and also the budget allotment of the project is not done and hence the project is to be completed in a budget as minimum as possible.
The organization had maintained that the project of development of the website has to be completed within 3 weeks and the there was no budget allocated for the development and hence, a budget and schedule for the website has been developed.

The main functional requirements of the system are:
Lesson Booking: The website that is to developed should able to provide the customers with efficient booking options and help the organization in maintaining the booking data. In addition to this, the system should also be able to suggest alternate dates to take the lessons for the clients of the organization.
Customer accounts: The system should be able to accommodate the customer accounts and also maintain the customer records. The staffs should be able to validate the customer accounts and the customers should be provided with the option of editing their information whenever they want to.
Booking transactions: The lessons booking and the payment for the lessons that the clients have undergone should be stored by the system. The receipt process and the transaction of the payments should also be covered by the system.
The main Non-Functional Requirements of the website are:
Security: The website should be secure so that there are no data leaks for the organization.
Data Integrity: The data integrity of the system should be maintained and the data of the customers should be protected safely.
Availability: The website should be available 24×7. As there would customers from different parts and the customers should be provided the service whenever they come online.
Reliability: The website should be reliable and should not crash more often.
Conclusion
For conclusion it can be said that the implementation of the website is very essential for the organization. This would be increasing the overall efficiency of the Fast Drivers organization. This has been justified in the report with proper discussions and additional illustrations and tables for the discussions.
