3.1 Assumptions and Constraints
The “Social Media Research Center” has been mainly developed for helping the students perusing doctoral and master degree. This research center is developed for allowing these students for their research process. In addition to this, the web application was developed for managing different work done by different students within this research centers. The development of web application, social media research center is aiming at following assumptions:
- The center is made to be connected with internet connectivity
- The developed applications will be accessible by the doctoral and master degree students
- Bruce’s team has done the feasibility analysis for conducting the research
- Financial analysis has been done for improvement of the project
- The project charter got approval before the initiation and implementation stage
The web application development has significant project constraints involved within this research. Following are the constraints required for this research:
- The project development period is total eight months for completing the project
- The project have significant budget is $50000.
3.2 Estimation of Project Budget
The budget for developing the web application for social media research center is done by dividing the entire project into several tasks as well as allocating different resources for each task. MS project is used for allocating different project financial factors within different activities for developing the project. The entire project budget is estimated with respect to cost involved for completing every task involved within project development phases. Apart from the estimation of project resources cost there are other cost that are introduced for introduction of risks and issues involved within the project development phases. The budget set for this project is $50,000. The entire budget for this applications are set for accordingly the equipments and hardware usages.
