This particular project defines the details of a project named as Riverina Agriculture and Lifestyle Show (RALS), organized by the Virtucon and Globex Company. Both the companies have put equal efforts to improve the traditional ticket booking system into advanced and online ticket booking system. It has been found that, The Information Technology based well known company named as Virtucon serves a consumer focused service to the consumers. The time for service efficiency also increases with the increasing rate of technology adoption. RALS community has developed the existing business process for ticket booking and show organization as well. The RALS committee has decided to expand their existing business approaches from the manual ticket booking up to the advanced online ticket booking. From the current locality respectively up to 500km and 700 km ways two different shows have been arranged by the management authority of the Globex Company. In order to meet the requirement of the consumers the company is also willing to improve the system to an error free one.
In order to share the skills and knowledge regarding different agricultural ideas the RALS committee has decided to arrange the ALS program for their consumers over the past 17 years. However, from last 2 to 3 year due to lack of technical usage the company is facing major level of challenges both form the business and consumers perspectives. In order to mitigate these issues the company has evolved an advanced online ticket booking system instead of the manual ticket booking. It has been expected that the issues associated the manual ticket booking would minimized with the implementation of online approaches. The operational facilities that the company is expected to achieve after the implementation of online ticket include the following:
- The users need not to visit the community for booking the tickets for the RALS show
- They are not required to wait in the large queue
- They can use online payment for the consumers as well
- Additionally advanced security approach is also available with the online ticket booking system
- Based on the membership of the consumer’s different offers are also available for the consumers
Apart from this, additional functionalities and business operations are also associated to it. The exhibitors of the RALS community are allowed to make calls as per their expectation and requirements. In order to get to know more about the show passes, the site of the exhibitors are also allowed to visit by the consumers. With a timely manner the consumers could ask for different passes and even boo advanced passes for the ALS shows. The show is also categorized in different parts such as machineries, products and rural supplier’s details as well. It means that the clients could access for the desired show and passes availability from the developed online system. It is assumed that, if the project team members serve their roles and responsibilities accurately then, the business and operational requirements would meet the requirements of the consumers.
