Objectives of the Project
The title of the project is “Electronic Information System for Sub Sea Adventures” and it is being made for realizing the development of the project plan for implementing new electronic information system for Sub Sea Adventures. The project aims to achieve the following objectives,
- To develop a project plan for implementing electronic information processing for Sub Sea Adventures
- To form accurate development option for Sub Sea Adventures by increasing the efficiency of operations by the new system
- To complete the project in estimated time and allocated resources
The implementation of the project operations would help in developing and implementing a new information processing system for Sub Sea Adventures. The overall operational speed and accuracy of operations would be improved by the new system.
Assumptions and Constraints: The project had assumed the budget of AUD 45000 and time period of 8 months max. The project had to be completed in that duration with the allocated resources for project. The primary assumption of the project is that the resources are easily available for the project and all the team members are working cohesively with each other. On the other hand the tight schedule and the dependency of technology is a major source of constraint for the project operations. The maximum time duration is 8 months and the project would have to be completed within that duration.
The project approach is based on the Agile Software development model. The activities developed for the project had been inspired from the agile development model consisting of Requirement Analysis, Planning, Implementing, and Monitoring. The phases of project operational approach are Project Initialization, Project Planning, System Development, and Testing of the system. The project planning approach is developed considering the basic plan of software development approach. However, the budget development approach is being made for forming the estimation of the expenses of the project operations. The estimation approach is being developed for forming the accurate development of project operations and functions. The resource allocation had been done in Lump Sum format where each of the resource is being allocated for a particular activity.
The Sub Sea Adventures is famous for selling scuba diving gears, training programs for the student divers, and giving 6 fleets of boat on rents near Phillip Island and Queenscliff. They have 3 shops in Portsea, Queenscliff and Phillip Island respectively and Shane (experienced scuba diving instructor) is the manager of Sub Sea Adventures. They have been using manual data recording methods for their operations. However, the growth of technology and increase of customers have made it evitable for realizing Shane the importance of new electronic system. They need a proper information system that would serve the faster and accurate information processing for Sub Sea Adventures.

The risk management strategy is developed for evaluating the factors of risk and developing some methods of minimizing their impact. The illustration of the risk management strategy is being shown below,
Identify Risk: The first part of the risk management strategy is identification of risk and it would involve the analysis of the various risk factors in the project of information system development for Sub Sea Adventures
Evaluate Risk: The evaluation of risk is being developed for forming the appropriate evaluation of the factors of risk for the project. Their impact and weaknesses would be analysed in this part.
Develop Responses: This step is evaluated for developing the responses for the project and it would form the effective and smart development of operations for information system development for Sub Sea Adventures.
Monitor control: The last step of risk management strategy is for monitoring the activities of the project and alignment of the system developed in the project of information system development for Sub Sea Adventures.
The communication management strategies are developed for forming the effective communication of the ideas and concepts of the project. It is also developed for forming the effective and smart communication system for the analysis of the project operations. The benefits of implementing the communication management strategy are,
- Effective communication plan would be developed
- Easy convey of ideas, issues, and thoughts for project operations
- Network for channelling conflict management in project team
