Design Thinking Process
The design thinking is practiced for the effective design of any goods and services. In this, many modules are discussed that are related to the design thinking process. In last, SWOT analysis is discussed that demonstrate my weakness, threats, strengths, and opportunity. In this, weaknesses and threats are improved by considering many self-improvement theories.
In the week first, I enhanced my existing knowledge about a current research topic that is Design it. Moreover, I enhanced my understanding about many factors as it is related to the introduction of design, innovation concept, theories, and entrepreneurship. Further, I gained knowledge in the context of SMEs. In week first, It is evaluated that how synergy is imperative to make a reliable decision in the context of the current research matter (Johansson?Sköldberg, Woodilla, & Çetinkaya, 2013). I observed that my lecturer supported to gain my understanding in many areas that was effective for improving my confidence level. Further, I improved my knowledge of innovation significant and procedure of innovation. I gained my understanding about certain aspects of the innovation such as architecture innovation, the platform innovation, and discontinuous innovation. Moreover, it is also evaluated that there are many factors that could be considered in the innovation dimension like paradigm, product, position, and process. Moreover, I enhanced my understanding in the context of innovation flow as it could also be in the writing of blog.
In this week, I improved my understanding about the design thinking process that could be effective for making a reliable decision in the context of the design thinking. Moreover, depth understanding about the design thinking process could enable a researcher to gain their knowledge as well as the confidence level of the individual in the least time (Seidel & Fixson, 2013). Further, I observed that my tutor always provide reliable data about the design it that could assist to make an effective decision. Moreover, I also observed that my tutor conduct many activities for engaging each student of class as it would be effective for eliminating the possibilities of boredom. Moreover, I observed that the engagement of students in their allocated word could be effective for making an interesting and interactive class. Furthermore, I increased my understanding about design thinking procedure that played an imperative role in obtaining favourable outcome. In design thinking, I enhanced my understanding of the application of managerial decision-making techniques in the organization together with using many components (Glen, Suciu, & Baughn, 2014). Moreover, I observed that planning of anything could assist an individual to get a positive result in the least time. Further, I also increased my knowledge about customer innovation. Apart from this, I observed that not only appropriate time innovative ideas could also be effective for effectively design process. In addition, I also observed that entrepreneurship could also be significant for getting higher success. I developed my knowledge about entrepreneurship role as it would support to make a reliable decision in the context of entrepreneurship. Moreover, I also increased my existing understanding about certain factors like the significance and challenges of entrepreneurship (Carlgren, Rauth, & Elmquist, 2016). Through this, I gained my personal as well as professional life in the context of design thinking. In the last day of the second module, I observed that I improved my skills that could be imperative in the obtainment of organization task.
Innovation and Entrepreneurship
In module 3, I gained my existing awareness towards the design thinking approaches in a reliable way. This module was more important as compared to another module herein we understood about the data that would be imperative in blog writing. There are certain theories of design thinking like action research, the logic of reasoning, co-creation, convergent thinking, learning theory, and divergent theory (Fischer, 2015). These approaches could be effective to write an efficient blog. I increased my awareness in the context of basic reasoning pattern that was imperative in solving the addressed issue in a systematic way. Moreover, I gained my existing awareness in the context of the deductive reasoning, inductive reasoning, and abductive reasoning. Further, I observed that the inductive approach is practiced for evaluating and developing the possible hypothesis with respect to the current matter. It could be effective for declining the possibilities of task problem in a systematic way. In this, I observed that abductive reasoning is effective for determining the method by which any particular task will be accomplished in the upcoming period (Kangas, Seitamaa-Hakkarainen, & Hakkarainen, 2013). But, at the same time, I also observed that a deductive approach was imperative to accept and reject the developed hypothesis and make a reliable decision in the context of the current research matter. Besides this, I learned that these approaches facilitate me to improve my professional life for design thinking. In this week, I was very nervous about my presentation. It is observed that the presentation could be the best way to improve many skills as it could be associated with communication, confidence, professional, and personal skills. It could lead to obtaining a higher outcome in the least time and cost (Carlgren, 2013).
In this module, I increased my awareness about design issues and design tools to decline the design issues in a systematic way. I learned about many techniques and tools that aid an individual to solve issues of design like visualization, brainstorming, and spotting obvious. These techniques could be imperative in a finding of issues systematically (Plattner, Meinel, and Leifer, 2015). The knowledge about tools enables me to develop depth knowledge in the context of problem-solving. I also gained my knowledge about visualization acts that enable to influence blog writing.
In module fifth, I developed my awareness about value chain, journey mapping, value mind mapping, and network for appropriate design in a systematic way. I also enhanced my existing knowledge about the design thinking process tools named journey mapping and brainstorming (Mentzer, Becker, and Sutton, 2015). I observed that the design thinking principles could be effective in the design think as it considered many factors like Solving ‘wicked’ problems, Human-centered and empathetic, Observation, Visualisation, Prototyping, Experimentation, and active learning, and A ‘beginner’s mindset’. It could also be effective for making a reliable decision in the context of the current matter. I understood that the journey mapping process could also be essential in the design thinking like select the customer, Graphically represent your view of what the customer journey, looks like, Identify a small number of customers, Conduct interviews, Identify themes, Study themes, Choose 2 most relevant dimensions (2×2 matrix) (Miller, 2017).
Communication Plan and Resource Utilization
In addition, I also observed that journey mapping is effective to comprehend graphics presentation as it would be advantageous for demonstrating the consumer experience with specified products and services. In this, I understood about many factors that could be effective in design thinking like visualization new idea, the establishment of available experience, and visualize possible experience, and development of the existing experience (Stimmel, 2015). I also observed that I observed then how an organization could influence their consumers for purchasing any goods and services. Initially, the organization will select appropriate consumers to identify their needs and the desire for particular goods and services. Then, the organization will select particular consumers to conduct an interview, which will also be effective for examining themes.
In this module, I increased my knowledge in the favour of adding value that would be imperative to offer added value in the process of business. I also gained my existing knowledge in the context of the generic value chain in which two acts could be imperative like primary and secondary activity. Moreover, I also observed that the primary activity of the supply chain could involve many factors such as operation, outbound logistics, inbound logistics, outbound, marketing and sales, and services (Chen & Venkatesh, 2013). It could also be imperative in getting a reliable result. Apart from this, support the activities of the supply chain could consider certain factors such as firm infrastructure, technology development, procurement, and human resources management. I also understood many factors that could be imperative in developing Mindmap.
