In Verrem is a play by the Roman playwright Cicero, written in 70 BC. It is a verbatim account of the famous speech Cicero gave during his prosecution of Gaius Verres, the former governor of Sicily, for extortion. Cicero successfully convicted Verres, and the play is considered one of the masterpieces of Latin literature.
