Evangelism is the spreading of Christianity to all the people in the earth and it is done by evangelist, missionaries, priests and pastors. Spreading the world of God to all mankind is our primary duty to him. Some people evangelism is an offensive or frightening word, they are afraid of doing evangelism because they are not equipped with knowledge in convincing the people about the good news. Others believed that spreading the gospel is a gift and not all the people have its gifts and talents.
Evangelists are one that travels from town to town and from church to church, and whose work is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. While some of the evangelist led large meetings and rallies just to spread the good news about our salvation.
In the bible it is stated that,” And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. ” (Ephesians 4:11-12). This word from the bible stated that Jesus Christ has already sent evangelist, workers to work for his ministry. In his statement all of us can be his messenger to spread the good news of salvation, not only to those who have the talents and gifts but to all of us who believed in him and follow his commandments.

Evangelism is the only way to teach Christianity to all the people. It is the most sacred and noble work that a man can do.
In doing evangelism the evangelists can encountered trials and difficulties, and it needs patience and sacrifices, like Jesus who suffer in spreading the gospel of salvation. One aspect that can help the church growth is the hospitality; it is a key ingredient in any congregation. To be kind to all the people especially to the strangers and it will be rewarding in the eyes of god and as a human being it is a big fulfillment. In the church, the pastor are responsible for teaching the truth and be involved in the lives of the people outside the congregational setting.
And all the members should encourage those who are spiritually weak; and must be around them even outside the church building. If we want to “Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep”, we must know that person ahead of time. I am not in favor of the “social gospel”, but I am in favor of “having all things in common” with those who are my brothers and sister in Christ. I am in favor of getting to know those people I worship with, or reaching out to those who are alone and need a friend (Romans 12: 15).
However, hospitality is not limited to those we do not know. Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. ” Hospitality is not putting on a big show but expressing love and concern for one another (1 Peter 4: 9). It is a part of being a good Christian to be hospitable to one another. To show love, respect and concern is the most admirable assets that one should possess. Finally, in order to help the church grow is to be a good follower to God, because church is not only specific to a building, but it represent us, our body as a symbol of the church of God and it should be clean, kind, all the good character traits that God has, because we are created like the images of God.
