I am writing relating to a short article published in your magazine last week entitiled… I highly disagree with the author for a variety of reasons.

Secondly, I believe that we need to ‘recharge our batteries’ in order to have the energy to work effectively.
For instance, as an IB trainee I have so much work to do with CAS, ToK, Extended Essays and all the other portfolios, fieldwork, internal evaluations, oral exams that I can not commit enough attention to one alone. Instead, with examinations today I am left tired and uninspired. If I do not have time to unwind and loosen up, I can not perhaps do the work correctly. Therefore leisure is required for doing an excellent task in whatever field.

Last Friday I went to the pool the school said it owned prior to I moved here to see what it resembled. Well, guys, here’s my report:
Size- The size is its most significant property. It is an Olympic-Sized pool which will allow all you fat, physically challenged pre-IB kids to get in shape for 2008. In fact, it also is designed to accommodate handicapped kids like you Vincent. Even during the weekend it’s open with enough space for you to play with your parents, grandparents, and all the uncles presently sticking with you.
Rate
The swimming pool is pricey (if you purchase tickets from the school) but there is a discount rate card for trainees which gives 15% to orphan kids experiencing Bird Influenza.
Location-.
Perfectly sited near an industrial dump. Is an issue because it was nuclear market before the pool located there, so radiation often forces the swimming pool to close on smoggy days. The roadway is brand-new- it’s being built today.
Facilities- There is a change room in 21st Century Hotel which is a problem in winter. The showers work but the water is greenish and cold. Finally, there is no chlorine in the water so it smells and has algae on the surface. The sauna is equipped with coal but there is no ventilation so get a tan but die of suffocation.
Happy Hour- With new management, the owners have now added a bar to the pool allowing you to be totally relaxed swimming in the deep end or jumping off the diving board. Free drinks every time you jump!
Doctors- After this new facility, trained medical staff are on standby with dogs trained to swim and rescue disabled children.
I highly recommend this pool because it is the only one in Chaoyang apart from the pond behind Annie’s restaurant (during the rainy season).
