This week for our current event, we’re going to take a look at a Texas state law that’s been getting a lot of attention lately because of a girl at a Fort Worth Hospital. We are one of a few states with a law that’s known as the “10-day rule,” where families are given 10 days to find a new hospital if they disagree with doctors who decide to take a patient off life support. Some feel it’s a merciful rule that allows nature to take its course. Others feel it’s too harsh and doesn’t provide families with enough time or options. Read over this article to learn more:
