Will the Blacks ever be seen as humans and not Africans? The incident in Black Wall Street proves otherwise. About the chosen historical research topic about Tulsa Riot, my personal knowledge about the topic describes the general details of the incidence. Tulsa Race Massacre broke down on 31st of May and continued till 1st of July in 1921. The riot broke as some mobs from White Resident attacked the Black residents and burnt their homes all in the name of race and skin color (Tulsa History, 2022). The location of incident was Greenwood District in Tulsa in Oklahoma, and the massacre till date remains the most violent riots outbreak in the history.
About the community, it is believed that Black Wall Street, which is located in Greenwood district which is a large community of middle class black people and the businesses practiced are also owned by black people. The riot took place when one white supremacist mob shot dead all of the black residents by burning up their homes and businesses. I believe that this incident occurred due to hateful behavior towards Black Community. The actual reason apart from racism has never been found out about the incident and I believe that it is one’s own behavior that reflects back their actions. Everyone must be treat people exactly the way they deserve to be treated.
The discrimination based on skin color has always led to social violence, that must be stopped and no human is to be called Black, because they are not Black or White, they all are human and should be treated that way.
