Hotel Futura
‘Hotel Futura’ is a hospitality establishment that offers food and beverage services.
- The organization has a pre-set plan to grow and advance the services of their business for a period of one year. They have a primary objective increasing the sales of their services up to 10% before 30 June 201X.
- The senior management team will advise all concerned managers that they are responsible for developing and implementing an operational plan that will deliver this increase in sales for the hotel.
- The business has advised the managers that they must complete an operational plan to achieve sales growth of 10% and submit this plan for approval before implementing.
Objectives
- To increase sales by 10% by 30th June 2017, expand the service provided by including room services
- To acquire through purchase any additional tool or equipment (coffee machine) to be used by each department to increase the sales
- To create additional space for the new equipment. This will be done by reorganizing fixtures and existing fittings.
- To boost the capacity of sales through recruitment of 2 full time staff in the service department.
- To provide foods and beverages that are exceptional and quality service.

Contingency Plans:
When purchasing the coffee maker, if the supplier is unable to deliver within the time, the next standing supplier will be selected. Training of staff in the proper time is an important factor to determine the success and achievement of all our objectives and plans for the business. As such, we must recruit and train all our new staff and boost the skills of all our current staff by the 30th September 2017. If we fail to meet these objectives, there is a 5% budget that will be used to employ a consultant who would train more and give additional resources. It is important that the progress of all our operational plans be monitored by the Hotel manager for evaluation against target KPIs (Sainaghi R., Baggio R, Sainaghi R., Baggio R).

Recruitment and Selection Procedures and Policies.
Purpose of Recruitment: The success of restaurant waiters relies plainly upon the ability of the Hotel to attract the best staff available. Recruitment methods must be efficient, fair and effective.
Policy of Recruitment: Waiting staff is supposed to consider commitment to providing high quality Food and beverage services to our clients. To achieve the objective, consideration is made to evaluate the need for employing suitable applicants only in all the vacant positions (Heller, 2017). Food and Beverage manager takes all the reasonable steps in ensuring all applicants gets safely entrusted with the duties and responsibilities of their position.

At the end of each month, each staff will input the progress and the constraints faced by that department in achieving the objective in the above template and will be send it to the Manager of Hotel Futura. Where, Senior office management team will critically analyze the progress made compared to the previous month and assess the constraints faced by each hotel department and provide a feasible solution and appropriate feedbacks to make sure that Hotel is on track in achieving organization business goals.
