Background
Project Background
Tier one supplier insurance group (TOSIG) is the Australian insurance company which provides insurance to the companies in terms of buildings, inventory, fencing, machinery, and other physical assets. The company is facing problems in filling traditional databases of the customers. It is a time consuming process. The organization wants to transform their working practices with the inclusion of new ICT technologies to provide new environment of working to the employees. The deployment of the ICT technologies helps in facilitating thee employees with the online form of the customers which can be filled by them immediately on the site location. In this paper, we will prepare a project plan for the ICT implementation in the TOSIG organizations.
Project Goal
The goal of the project is to facilitate the employees with the deployment of effective cloud based ICT technologies in the working curriculum of the TOSIG enterprise. The deployment of cloud computing services helps in managing the centralization and automated control on the working of the employees. This technologies help the employees to give their time effectively in the field work in managing and selling of insurance policies to the new and existing customers.
Project Objective
The objective of the proposed project for adoption of cloud computing in the working architecture of the TOSIG enterprise is to increase the working capabilities of the employees so that they can give more time of work in the field and helps in increasing the sale of the enterprise.
Project Deliverables
The deliverables of the project are:
- Project Schedule
- Work Breakdown structure
- Resource management plan
- Milestones
- Risks Management plan
- Communication management plan
Strategic alignment of project
The scope of the project is to align the project activities in the synchronised and systematic manner so as to adopt cloud computing efficient in the working platform of the enterprise (Fujitsu, 2013). The strategic alignment of processes is given below:
Mission:
The mission of the project is to improve the working capabilities of the employees and sale of the insurance policies by deploying cloud architecture in the TOSIG enterprise. It helps in providing centralisation and automation in developing database of the customers.
Values:
The value of the project is to provide facilities to the employees to fill the database of the customers from the site location which helps in saving their time (Branco, Soares, and Rivero, 2017)
Vision:
The vision of the project is to provide centralization and automation in the management of customer data by providing automatic customer entry form to the employees which helps them to make the database effectively from the site location only by making use of their tablet, black berry mobiles, or Laptops (Passenheim, 2015).
Project Objectives
Strategy
The strategy is to deploy cloud computing platform in the working architecture in the TOSIG enterprise because it connects the employees to the central system (Otieno, 2014).
Balanced Scorecard:
The balanced score card will be prepared for measuring the expectation and output of the project.
Strategic Initiatives:
The strategic initiatives are deployment of market research, project planning activities, requirement gathering from various online and offline sources, designing activities, evaluation phase, testing activities, and implementation of the cloud computing project.
Meets Project Objective:
The objective of the proposed project for adoption of cloud computing in the working architecture of the TOSIG enterprise is to increase the working capabilities of the employees so that they can give more time of work in the field and helps in increasing the sale of the enterprise (Xue and Xin, 2016)
