The Importance of Tourist Attraction for Australia
The Australian Government is looking forward to implement the project management body of knowledge principles to implement voice recognition system so that the range of tourist can be effectively improved towards the nation. The attraction of the tourists from all over the world helps in increasing the GDP and growth rate of the country. The project plan should be developed for increasing the attraction of all age groups member i.e. adults, children, teenagers, youth, and old age people. The current working structure of the tourist policies of Australia helps in attracting 2,00,000 family per year. The deployment of voice recognition system results in increasing the tourists towards the nation. It helps in providing instant response to the queries posted by the customers. The newer system and technologies provides benefit in managing the database of the tourists in relation to the hotel booking, ticket booking, tourist places in Australia, Availability of connectivity, and many others concerns raised by the customers. The purpose of this paper is to design a business plan which focuses on determining the financial statement of the proposed project, resources management plan, development of project schedule, cost benefit analysis, and identification of system requirement which helps in satisfying the customer need and desire. The desirable consequence of the project can be achieved by implementing the project management body of knowledge. The monitoring and control plan should be developed for analysing the efficiency of the proposed system in managing the congestion of working employees over the network so that the desired result can be achieved from the voice recognition system.
The aim of this paper is to deploy PMBOK for identifying the cost benefit analysis related to the project schedule developed for the implementation of the voice recognition system in the working environment of the enterprise.
The objectives of the proposed project are defined below:
-
- Preparation of the project schedule
- Setting duration, cost, and resources of the proposed project
- Preparation of resource management plan
- Development of scope management plan focuses on in-scope and out-of-scope activities
- Identifying the role of manager in successful implementation of the project
The scope of the project for implementing the voice recognition system in the working environment of the enterprise is highlighted in the table below:

The expansion of the tourism industry with the implementation of the voice recognition system help in optimising the attraction of the customers from all over the world and minimising the impact of market competitors. The voice search helps in managing the requirement, need, and desire of the customers by providing frequent results of query posted for getting details about the tourism in Australia (Oliveira, Espindola, and Marins, 2014). The complete question can be asked by the customers through the network to get instant replies of the program. It helps in providing the virtual assistance to the customers to get guidance about their travel plan. The deployment of the VRS in the tourism industry helps in bringing systematic arrangement of tourism information to the customers. The efficiency and the capabilities of the employees get enhanced by managing the operation through the network system. The natural language should be used for bringing accuracy in the query and response system. The use of natural language helps in providing ease of speaking their common language while interacting with the computer system. The technologies which are used in the implementation of the voice recognition system are categorised as artificial intelligence, machine language, big data management system, and cloud processing environment. The voice recognition system helps in exploring the business activities and operational schedule in the tourism industry (Otieno, 2014). It helps in increasing the number of satisfied customers which results in optimizing the profit and turnover of the tourism industry. The experience of the tourists can be improved by providing instant information about the tourist destination, facilities, and services provided to them.

The pert chart helps in analysing the interrelationship and dependencies among the project activities which are designed in the direction of completing the project without any complicacies and critical activities.
The Gantt chart helps in estimating the duration of time and analysing the cost variance of the project. The resource utilization can be effectively managed by demonstrating the allocation of resources among the project activities. The project starts on September 17, 2018 and finishes on 3 January, 2019. The expected cost of the project is $ 39,600 and actual cost of the project is $ 48,000.
The cost benefit analysis helps in analysing the net profit gained by the implementation of the voice recognition system in the working curriculum of the tourism industry. The cost management helps in analysing the net profit gained by the tourist organization. The consideration should be given on analysing the quality standard of the project (Mansfield community, 2013). The project can be completed within the cost by accomplishing the active participation of the internal and external stakeholders, coordinated work of non-users participants, managing efficiency of the external effect, and gaining social benefits from the outcome of the project. The occurrence of the uncertainty of the risks helps in managing the complexities and risks associated with the project. The project control parameters should be used for analysing the start and finish of the given project activities within the period of time and cost. The accuracy of the project can be achieved by initializing the quality checks and standard for finishing the tasks successfully.
The graph below shows the earned value in relation to time. The actual cost is higher than the budgeted cost than it comes under the category of over budgeting project and when the actual cost is less than the budgeted cost than it comes under the category of under budgeting project.
The graph below shows the variance of cost over time. The Cost Variance is negative it means project is completed under budget. The schedule variance is positive it means that project is completed within the scheduled time.
The Project management body of knowledge (PMBOK) is the most applicable methodology for implementing the voice recognition system to improve the working capability of the existing tourism industry in Australia. The PMBOK helps in increasing the level of satisfaction by giving preference to the voice of customers. The processes which are undertaken for the implementation of the voice recognition system is with the help of PMBOK are given below:
Process |
Description |
Project Initiation |
The development of the project starts by analysing the need and requirement of the stakeholders and customers. The focus should be given on analysing the voice of internal and external customers. The project charter should be prepared for signing it by the stakeholders for approval (Grant Wiriting training manual, 2008). |
Project Planning |
The planning phase focuses on developing the scheduling of activities for successful implementation of the voice recognition system to get desired result of increasing customer attraction. The identification of the project scope helps in managing in-scope and out-of scope activities. |
Project Execution |
The success of the project execution phase depends on the effective management of resources, communication, estimation of time and cost associated with the project activities, identifying and management of risks, and controlling standards. The on-time demand of resources helps in improving the flow of project organization. |
Project Monitoring and controlling |
The quality checks and controlling standards helps in completing the implementation of the voice recognition system successfully. |
Project Closure |
The handover of the project for operation helps in analysing the level of satisfaction achieved by deploying the project successfully. The voice recognition system helps in improving the existing condition of the project. |
Scope Management Plan for Implementing Voice Recognition System
The inclusion of PMBOK helps in managing the project requirement effectively because it give preference to the knowledge areas in managing coordination between the project activities. The knowledge areas which are taken under consideration for the implementation of the voice recognition system are as project scope management, resource management, cost management, procurement management, risks management, stakeholder management, communication management, quality management, and control system (Befeki, Epstein, Yuthas, 2014).
The implementation plan focuses on defining the resource utilization, actual cost of the project, and analysing the project scheduled time. The goal of the project is to deploy the voice recognition system effectively within the working curriculum of the tourism industry in Australia so that customers can get instant response to the query posted according to the required demand.

The monitoring of the quality standards and the frequency of customers using the voice recognition system to get details of tourism package helps in estimating the capability of the system in managing request and response of the clients (Kharaiweish, 2013). The system analyst should work on analysing the network congestion of 1000 employees over the system.
Recommendation and Conclusion
It is recommended that the quality checks which are developed for measuring the efficiency of the project success and its capability should be according to the requirement and expectations of the internal and external customers. The top down approach should be followed for developing the organization hierarchy for managing the flow of information between various units of the project. The voice of customers should be given preference for analysing the success of the project completion. The marginal duration should be associated with the project activities so that the project can be completed on the scheduled date. The miscellaneous cost should be taken under-consideration so that the overrunning of the project can be avoided. The market analysis should be done for fixing the estimated price to the resources for the approval of the project fund. The deployment of the PMBOK project methodology helps in improving the efficiency of the project. The PMBOK results in increasing the level of satisfaction by giving preference to the voice of customers.
