Discuss how stakeholders in the working of the business is an important part of the module of the working of the effective management of the organization.
Stakeholders are the people of the organization whose actions and ways impact the workings and business of the concerned enterprise. The stakeholders are one of the important part of the business as they ample amount of scope to the workings of the business to gain the required amount of profit for the same (Lawrence & Weber, 2014). Without the presence of the stakeholders, the working of the business is not effective and should not be considered in the matter. The role of stakeholders is therefore important and should be there when the organization needs the implementation of the most. The stakeholders of the business are generally classified into internal and external stakeholders with both of them having their required work module and effectiveness (Manetti & Toccafondi, 2012). There are a number of stakeholders in the working of a business namely customer, employees and the people associated with the business of the same. The companies are associated with various types of communication process for nurturing an effective communication process for the same. The various types of communication process that the business involves in making the effective communication with the stakeholders involves various number of processes like verbal, written and social communication techniques (Gustafsson, Kristensson & Witell, 2012). The method of delivery that will be done by the company for the concerned stakeholders involve the various type of processes such as verbal, written and social media deliverables with timely completion of the tasks. In this assignment, the communication plan for the organization Wesfarmers Limited has been selected for their new project implementation.
The aim of the communication between the company and the stakeholder is to issue effective communicative measures to the various people of the same and to deliver timely and work related updates regarding the effective working schedule that will help in the better working and effective profit earning of the stakeholders of the new project of the business organization Wesfarmers Limited (Park & Heaton, 2014)
The scope of the communication plan involves a lot of process and aims to cover the overall communication approach set by the organization as a whole. The scope of the communication process involves the process of training, communication process and details of implementation that is to be conducted by the people of the organization and also to make sure that each and every stakeholder of the company get the required amount of share from the process (Kim & De Dear, 2013). The scope of the stakeholder communication also involves the scope of management of the work done by the people of the organization and this can prove beneficial for the proper working of the business organization and also implementation of the plan as directed by the company of the business. The scope of the stakeholder communication involves the benefit of both the company and the stakeholder for the mutual benefit of the same. The scope also broadens the perspective of profit making of the organization and also to make sure that each stakeholder of the organization gets the required share in the business provided (Coombs, 2014).
Objective
The following are the objectives of the stakeholder communication plan that is to be established between the stakeholder and the manager of the business organization Wesfarmers –
- To establish an effective communication module between the stakeholder and the business managers to make sure that the business process is smooth and relevant.
- To make sure that the project and its management is done in a fluid way and to make sure that the objectives of the business organization in the process gets fulfilled (Andriof et al. 2017).
- To facilitate the use of the project management process and techniques to make sure that the workings of the organization is smooth and in a timely manner.
- To establish effective communication process with the key stakeholders of the company and to make sure that the dialogues with the key persons of the business are receiving effective business ideas for the same.
