The different activities those are necessary for the employees and manager to be incorporated within the business organization are as follows:

Conflict is referred to as one of the most predictable situations in the workplaces (Bormann & Abrahamson, 2014). Though, this is not the top most priority that should be considered. The working environment of a business organization can be complete disrupted with the intra organizational conflicts. In order to resolve these problems the companies must address those issues rationally and in a timely manner. Even for the organizational improvement and proper decision making the researchers should consider proper research design approaches and methodologies as well. In order to reveal the hidden facts accurate research methodologies are needed to be developed in the research proposal. In order to develop and analyze the research proposal the developers are required to undertake all the aspects properly including the research philosophy, research design and research methodologies. For making the Information System accurate and beneficial for Woolworths Limited it is necessary to engage the staffs along with the official HRM policies developed by Woolworths Limited. Proper justification for research design and research methods, data collection and research approaches are also elaborated in the below section.
Boundaries and Delimitation of Scope
Three different types of research design are available in the research approaches. In order to explain the framework properly selection of proper research collection and analysis pattern are required to be developed by the researchers. While gathering data from different resources it is necessary to apply accurate proper research approach. It will help to describe the research problem properly. Three major research patters those are widely used for developing academic research proposal include exploratory, descriptive and explanatory.
In order to complete any research proposal exploratory design approach are used for acknowledging different ideas generated from both the managers and staffs. However, the explanatory research design demonstrates the occurrences of different incidents and it also affects the incidents. It helps to gain proper information regarding the research problem. The issues identified in Woolworths Limited are all related to the Human resource management of the retail industry and with the help of descriptive research design all the details of staff management can be effectively revealed and elaborated for developing the research proposal. The application of explanatory research design is strictly avoided due to its support towards the longitudinal study and this is not at all helpful for this particular problem of Woolworths Limited. For gaining details of HRM policy, staff’s satisfaction and staff’s engagement, descriptive design is found to be very much helpful. The organization will be able to take effective and beneficial organizational decision with the help of this design approach. As the employees decision making procedure is appropriately investigated with this design thus for this particular research proposal this design is being selected for Woolworths Limited.
The issues identified for Woolworths Limited include:
- Lack of engagement between the organizational staffs and the managers
- Due to lack of engagement and poor relationship the staffs fails to share their views and ideas along with the management authority.

For revealing the hidden facts for lack of staff engagement, positivism research philosophy has been selected. This philosophy is completely logical in nature and dominated by different scientific method. For much detail observation and collecting knowledge from different resources, it also helps to reject metaphysics. For better analysis, on the hidden facts positivism research approach has been selected. On the other hand, two different types of research approaches are there such as inductive and deductive. Even if, enough data are not available then, also inductive research approach can be applied. However, deductive research approach is used as a procedure for describing the practical theories for accessing the research contents accurately. However with the help of deductive research approach the theories could be more specifically analyzed. Different theories could build with much specification and data analysis concept. Based on the study and research topic proper approach is required to be selected. For this present study, deductive research method is applied to understand the topic more precisely and clearly. Due to lack of theory emphasis, for resolving the issues of Woolworths Limited, inductive research approach has not been selected.

With the help of the information system the issues of HRM and staff management can be completely mitigated from the management of Woolworths Limited. Among the qualitative and quantitative primary data collection only the qualitative data collection approach has been selected for this particular topic. In order to record narratives data form, for providing a better analytical resultant, qualitative data collection is found to be much helpful. On the other hand, for large sample size, quantitative data collection approach are very much helpful.

The role of employees and managers in Woolworths Limited for improving the organizational situation are very much important. Few ethical aspects those are considered for this particular research proposal are as follows:
Data application: Through studying the staff management policy and employee management in Woolworths Limited it has been found that, the information gained from the understanding are very much helpful. In order to make the finding and analysis completely limited for the academic purposes only, all the commercial application are needed to be avoided.

Some of the restrictions are avoidable but at the same time some of the restrictions are by nature completely unavoidable. The encountered research limitations are as follows:
Reliability: The respondents associated in the data collection approaches and research processes are must not be involved with any kind of external pressure or influences. The managers and the employees of the business organizations should be biased towards the shared organizational goal. Therefore, it can be said that issues in reliability are present in the research proposal.

Due to short amount of time period many details issues regarding staff management are not properly analyzed in this research proposal. Due to the cross sectional study the researcher fails to analyze the detail of the study of Woolworths Limited.
