Brief description of incident
Discuss about the Incident Survey and Reporting for Safety and Environment.
The different skills of communication and collaboration helps in reporting of varied OHSE based incidents in the workplace. The collection of evidence and the manner in which the activities are designed as per the models helps in identifying the causation of the OHSE (OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH, Safety And Environment) incidents. The report aims at critically examining the judgments and the actions that are undertaken by the individuals while attending an OHSE incident. The report will be enumerating an OHSE incident relating to a case on accidents in the workplace and the manner in which it is addressed to bring in changes in the systems of the management (Rosness et al., 2012). The report will enumerate the methodology, which will be helpful in identifying the source of the data. The evidences of the report and the literature based survey will be helping in defending the different manageable resources that are held responsible for the survey.
An incident took place at a hotel located in Lansdowne, New South Wales, where an employee fell off a tree on a chain saw and was seriously injured while undertaking the job responsibility. The manager from the hotel called the OHSE department to seek the help of the same in handling the critical situation. The ambulance attended the injured person and the police took steps to look into the matter through a thorough interrogation of the co- workers of the injured employees. The differences in the functioning of the OHSE departments are based on the identification of the needs of the reporting and causation of the incident and the strategies through which the issues that are faced by the workforce can be mitigated.
Workplace accidents are most common while undertaking the smooth performance due to the inefficiency of the workforce for the lack of proper training attributes. On the other hand, the malfunctioning of the machinery also affects the functioning of the systems that are prepared by the businesses relating to the OHSE. The incident that occurred in the organization is still under investigation.
The assessment of the report is based on the critical investment on the incident. However, there are little evidences that were gathered from the case, which has affected the proper reporting as per the guidelines of the OHSE models. The different issues that are faced by the people relating to the different change needs in the organizations. The limitations of the reporting are based on the vague information that was shared by the manager of the incident in the phone call. The reporting of the incident should have been clear with an imposition of the contexts that helps in balancing the modifications in the systems of OHSE.
Limitations of report
The methodology that might be undertaken by the care units are dependent on the identification of the issues that are faced by the people relating to the workplace safety. The incident that took place in the hotel is a major case of workplace accidents where the activities of the manager play a major role in the controlling activities. The OHSE department might take steps to visit the spot and thereby take steps to keep the situation under control. The decision making of the departments will be based on the verification of the causes of the incident and the manner in which the issues that are faced by the employees can be mitigated. The decision making systems of the organization will be based on the identification of the issues and the manner in which they can be resolved through the careful exposition of the events. On the other hand, the proper understanding of the communication channels and the manner in which they can be implemented on the systems of the organization will be assisting the same to bring forth modifications in the methods of operations that are undertaken by the OHSE departments. The visit to the site and the proper interaction with the managers and the co-workers of the organization will be helping the departments of the unit to identify the issues that are faced by the people while functioning as per their job responsibility. Identification of issues that might be faced by the workforce while considering the modifications in the processes of the business is dependent on safety and security of the same. Therefore, the OHSE units must take steps to communicate with the co workers in the hotel and thereby identify and mitigate the issues that might help in reducing the likelihood of accidents in the workforce

Identification of the OHSE systems in the organizations helps in maintaining the safe functioning of the administrative and the legislative bodies of the business (Shea et al., 2016). It helps in enumerating the different measures to safely implement the different safety strategies through an identification of the risks and their likelihood to occur in the organizational functioning. Robson et al. (2012) stated that the identification of likelihood of the issues that might cause workplace accidents helps the organizations to undertake safer administration over the functions of the workforce while operating on the objectives that are planned by the business. The identification of the pre- conditions and the manner in which they can be managed helps the administrative body of the organizations to undertake mitigation strategies for avoiding the different situations.

The identification of the risk factors and the formulation of the mitigation strategies assists the businesses to bring forth modifications in the elements of administration and health -safety concerns of the same.

Identification of risk and the manner in which it affects the performance of business is administered through the application of the OHSE, which ensures the safety and the security of the workforce while operating on the objectives of the business. On the other hand, the identification of the different risks and the manner in which the reporting is made helps in maintaining the reasoning for the causation of the mishap. The report enumerates a scenario where the mismanagement of the hotel has caused the injury of an employee while performing the required job role. The identification of issues and strategies through which they can be resolved helps the administrative body of the organization to bring in changes in the approaches of the business. Safety and security of the employees is one of the major concerns of the management of the organization. Therefore, the application of the OHSE in the systems of the business assists the businesses to bring in modifications in the systems of their performance while operating in the international markets.
