Founded in 1957, the hospitality company has its outlets worldwide. The company specially deals in the hotels and resorts, for entertaining the customers. As per the annual report of 2017, the annual revenue was 4.68 million US dollars (Darlingharbour.com, 2018). The operating income was calculated as 302 million US dollars. The net income was 249 US dollars. The presence of 45000 skilled and efficient employees results in the provision of quality services to the clients and the customers.
Culture is one of an important component of the companies and organizations in terms of luring the clients and the customers towards the brand image. As a matter of specification, culture is the keystone towards achieving growth (Darlingharbour.com, 2018). The departmental units of the hospitality company contributes in the training programs, which reflects the unity, coordination and teamwork. Experts are hired for providing training to the employees. Online training classes have gained popularity among the employees. Personality development classes are also conducted by the hotel staffs to enrich the personality of the employees. I feel that the training programs organized by Hyatt Regency would help me in enhancing my professional skills, expertise and knowledge. The training materials supplied by The Department of General Studies is very helpful. The business concepts are properly defined with real life examples, which assists me to achieve better understanding over the common business issues. The trainers are very cooperative. From them, I get motivation and encouragement to upgrade my learning skills. The trainers have instructed us to prepare action plans and lesson plans for organizing our learning process. I have started following this process, which has brought significant changes in my approach towards business. Based on this changes, I can prepare a personal SWOT analysis:

I could emerge successful in preparing this SWOT analysis with the help of Laureate Professional Framework (LPA). Using this framework has helped me to discover my current position. According to the analysis, I can say that I lack self-confidence at some times. However, the extracurricular activities and programs prove fruitful in altering my personality. I like to attend these programs, as I get to interact with different experts. These experts are very liberal in their approach, which helps in clarifying the doubts. The managers are also efficient enough to clear our doubts. They tell us that whenever we face doubts, we can approach the managers. This has greatly improved our communication skills. I especially like the approach of the managers, when they tell us to speak our problems without any hesitations.
Belief
I can also include Gallup report, which helped me in upgrading my preconceived skills, especially the strengths. I could do this through the means of certain aspects, which are as follows:

I consider these aspects to be essential components of my behaviour. If I believe that I have all the materials to carry out the allocated duties and responsibilities, it reflects my adaptable skills. I work according to the expectations of my managers. This means I am dedicated and committed towards the performance, which I am supposed to expose in the workplace. I think motivation and encouragement provided by the managers inculcates within me an urge to expose better performance. Their praises and individual recognition makes me feel that my opinions and viewpoints are valued.
I adhere to the company mission and vision, which indicates that I am flexible enough to follow the company rules and regulations. This is necessary in terms of adjusting within the workplace environment. Ensuring that the colleagues are committed to the allocated duties indicates that I am conscious about the aspect of teamwork. I think teamwork is necessary for completing the tasks within the stipulated deadline, which averts delays. Herein lays the effectiveness of strategic planning, which helps me in systematizing thinking skills. This is also applicable in terms of selecting best friends in the workplace. Planning and selecting friends in the workplace helps in the achievement of positive results. This is in terms of enhancing the professional development.
I think the counselling sessions has done wonders for me. This is in terms of discovering the areas, where I am weak. The one-to-one sessions allow us to raise our voice regarding the issues, which we would face while executing the workplace activities. Pointing the mistakes has enhanced my awareness regarding the aspects, which I have to improve for altering my overall personality. Frequency in these sessions is essential in terms of upgrading the standards and quality of my performance. I think utilizing these counselling sessions would enhance my knowledge about the current strategic position of the multinational company, Hyatt Regency. For this, contacting the stakeholders and shareholders would help me to know about the latest trends adopted by the company for upgrading the learning process of the employees.
The training programs organized by Hyatt Regency is fruitful for me in terms of identifying my weakness areas. Attending these programs, I experienced that I lack self-confidence, which can create a negative image about me in the minds of the managers. Along with this, I also realized that I fail to undertake prospective decisions at the time of crisis. I think negligence towards systematizing the thought processes would act as a threat towards my professional development. In the process of counselling sessions, I have identified that I am fluent in English. I am attending spoken English classes for upgrading these skills.
Norms
After reviewing my personal strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats, I have realized that the training programs organized by Hyatt Regency is beneficial for me. The major drive behind this is the varying subjects on which the training programs are organized. This variety results in expansion of my scope and arena of my thinking skills. I also surveyed about the training programs organized by the other hospitality companies. However, logging into the website of Hyatt Regency enhanced my awareness regarding the various types of training programs. The difference lies between the information. The website of Hyatt Regency informs candidates like me about the policies, programs, rewards and future prospects of the training courses. This is missing in the website of other companies.
The skilled and efficient trainers is one of the other factors, which makes me say that I want to stay with the company and look for better placement. The methods adopted by them are flexible enough for upgrading and improving the preconceived skills, expertise and knowledge of the employees like me. Motivation and encouragement provided by them generates within me an urge to expose better performance. I think if I go to some other companies, I may not get trainers like this, which would be a loss for me in terms of improving my learning skills. Countering this, the other universities also provide efficient and effective training programs, but I have found that the training programs of Hyatt Regency is high, which enables me to conclude that I would consider the company as one of the foundation stones of my professional career.
The alluring advertisements of the company has certainly influenced my career. The detailed advertisements enlightened my path towards career establishment. Contacting the staffs, I found an insight into the conducive workplace environment, which is actually necessary for enhancement of the preconceived skills, expertise and knowledge. I liked the appearance of the experts in the images uploaded in the websites. They seem professional, which creates positive vibes for candidates like me in terms of aligning with the workplace norms. I can portray myself as them, working in such luxurious and prestigious company, talking fluently with the clients in English. I intend to attend the spoken English classes organized by the company. Here, the lectures on giving presentations is important in terms of upgrading my communication skills.
I have gained interest about the seminars and lectures organized by the company. Experts from foreign are called for delivering lectures to the employees. I researched about them and was surprised at their qualifications. They are highly qualified and have gained much popularity among the employees through their teaching skills. Getting their guidance would be beneficial for me in terms of progressing towards the path of my professional development. The company looks forward towards luring the clients and the customers through discounts, schemes and offers. I have read in the website that luxurious halls are booked for events. I would also be a part of such luxurious halls, if I stay in the company and attend the training programs.
Innovation
Offers, schemes and discounts on the travelling expenses is one of the other lucrative aspects, for which I would stay with the company. These discounts are effective in terms of attracting the clients and the customers towards the brand image. Advertising about these discounts enables individuals like us to perceive ourselves in the path of success. Countering this, advertising the discounts in the training programs would help the staffs to increase the trafficking of the audience towards the brand image.
The counselling session organized by the company staffs are extremely lucrative in terms of discovering the areas, where I need modification. The counselling sessions are effective in terms of upgrading the current skills and expertise. The website of the company is one such platform, which informs individuals like me about such activities. I especially like the contact option, through which I can inform the trainers about the issues, which the employees face while executing the allocated duties and responsibilities. I have contacted the officers of the company and found that they are polite in their conversation with the clients. This politeness is required in terms of exposing the hospitality. In order to relish the politeness, I would stay with the company and look for better placement instead of switching over the brand.
The Training Network organized by the multinational company would assist me to indulge in group studies, which would generate the skills of teamwork within me. I think teamwork is essential in terms of sharing the preconceived knowledge, skills and expertise with the colleagues. This is one of the other parameters for my staying within the company and looking for prospects.
Overall, I can say that staying in the company would act as a wise step for me in terms of enhancing my professional development. Encouragement and motivation of the trainers are the keystone towards progressing towards the path of success. However, I need to maintain frequency in organizing evaluation through the analysis, tools and frameworks. This would help me to discover the areas, where I am weak. Consistent evaluation would upgrade the standards and quality of my performance. I need to attend the spoken English class and the personality development classes. Break in between would degrade my communication skills. External reference would broaden the scope and arena of my thinking skills, effective in terms of enhancing the judgment.
