Innovation in Organizational Structure
The following paper is a continued planning for the proposed farming business in Turkey. As in the earlier business hypothesis it has been stated that watermelon farming in Turkey would be the most suitable business of my choice, I would further focus on the development of entrepreneurship through innovating different business strategies depending on the present attributes of my farming business. Entrepreneurship in farming needs to be specified on the basis of the supportive workforce, technological intervention, capital investment policies and techniques and so on. In this regard, it needs to be studied how the agricultural process would benefit the market in Turkey and I would further focus on looking into the global market structure. This paper is again hypothetically purposed to look into the following aspects of my farming business:
- Innovation in Organizational Structure
- Innovation in Operations
- Innovation in Human Resource Management
- Innovation in Market consideration
However, before delving into different strategies of entrepreneurship, the conception upon entrepreneur based on agricultural sector needs to be developed. According to Garratt (2016) Farmer-entrepreneurs look into their farms and consider those as their core business. Since the farms are the means of their earning profit and profit maximization they are highly concerned about overall development of their farm. My entrepreneurial decision and objective would be fulfilled through the driving force of the external environment that comprises of weather, social environment, economic environment, political environment supported by extension workers, competitors, government, input suppliers, technological support, fiancé agencies, commercial services, market structure and market agents. As a matter of fact, these components would influence upon my business decision.
The organizational structure of my farm would depend on the presence of the workforce that I would employ in due course of time. However, it needs to be significantly noted that the organizational structure in my view would depend upon the democratic policy so that the employees or the working famers are not deprived of their rudimentary and fundamental rights associated with the farm and market profit. As a matter of fact, it needs to be well taken care of that the organizational structure would focus on the free flow of the structural consequence. As I have already mentioned that the organizational structure would follow a geographical structure I would rather follow a free movement of the structural components in every department. There are different organizational structures such as
i. Functional,
ii. Geographical,
iii. Customer,
iv. Product organizational structure and many others depending on the type of the business. Since the effective business structure would focus on the geographical structure of the farm based on staffing and workforce of the business farm, there shall be no mono- centric approach towards the investment of capital. My entrepreneurship quality would focus on the basic structural changes that are based on the process of hiring the staffs. Since the aim of the business is to maximize ro that has been in most of the cases are directed to the leadership materials of an entrepreneur, my business process would focus both on staff management and market penetration. Since my business is going to be operated in more than one country, the centre head would be situated in the most potential country. As a business leader I would focus on bringing the most competent business analysts and other administrative employees from different countries to maintain workforce diversity. The following structure would be taken into consideration while conducting the agro- business.
Innovations in Operations

The aforementioned diagram succinctly shows that the business structure is based on different understanding of the process pertaining to the effective understanding of the entire case that has to be taken into certain consideration for the purpose of free flow of administration and business decision depending on the market consideration.
My operational objective would to ensure that I would drive this particular farm to larger business segment. The production process would be beyond surviving. With the effective understanding of the process, this needs to be ensured that the operations in different countries would depend on the local market need and structure. For instance the market in the Asian countries is highly congested and they have a growing proportion of need. Watermelons in the desert countries have high demand where the temperature is high. My aim as an entrepreneur would be leading the production to the apex of its numbers so as to eradicate threatening competition from the market. The motto of the organization is to provide quality and quantity to the market. The melons would be produced on regular basis. In the operations I would also like to focus on the avoidance of under- employment of the working staffs. Since this has to be taken into certain consideration, I would not only focus on the production of melon during summer, but also drive the technological interventions in the operations process to ensure that the alternative farming is also practiced within the organization. This is how in most of the cases there is a clear chance to finalize the basic consideration of the matter that has been taken into certain consideration pertaining to the effective understanding of the fact that would drive into utter success of the farm. One of the most important operational decisions would be to ensure the business contract with the suppliers. As an effective entrepreneur, I would be focusing on cost reduction policies however without compromising the quality of the procured seeds, fertilizers, pest control chemicals and other important components required for farming. My aim for the business would be to provide best quality melon in the market that would be without contamination. My operational decision would thus become slightly autocratic. According to the autocratic theory of entrepreneurship, the decision is not influenced by the others’ ideas. In this case I would stick to my own concept and business ethics. As a matter of fact, in most of the cases this has to be taken into certain consideration of the fact that my business ethics would be channelized to the other workers so that they embrace the business operations following the organizational aim and objectives.
Innovation in Human Resource Management
Entrepreneurial characteristics that would be directed to handle human resource management of an organization would focus on the overall engagement policies of the working staffs. Since this is a faring business, the recruitment process would focus on the actual understanding of the basic case. The recruitment process would focus on the effective understanding of the workers of different segments. The workers would be segmented into the following categories:
- The land workers
- The ploughmen
- The farmers or the cultivators
- The reapers
- The food processors
- Marketing managers
- Market analysts
There would be other minor segments as well. However, the objective of my leadership would be to make the workers engage in the core operational process of the farm. My entrepreneurial innovation would be to provide the workforce a better work culture. Since the Asian countries and Eastern European countries are highly family oriented, it shall be my obligation as an entrepreneurial leader to provide economic security to the families of the working staff. As a matter of fact, this has to be taken into certain consideration pertaining to the effective understanding of the factors pertaining to the effective consideration that this has to be dealt with calm and composed nature. I hereby plan to provide financial facilities- that are post salary provision- to the workers. The specific focus would be on the farmers who would work on the field. In this regard it can be stated that in most of the cases there has been a proper understanding of the fact that this has to be taken into certain consideration pertaining to the effective understanding with ease. However, I would not focus on group entrepreneurship in my business. The entrepreneurial quality would remain individual. The following dynamics would be followed:
- Establishment
- Survival
- Early Growth
- Rapid growth
- Maturity
Through the cognitive development of the process, I would focus on the leadership influence upon the workers. My specific focus would lay upon the extension workers who are highly responsible for direct production process. It shall be my responsibility to provide proper facilities- beyond financial one- to them. In this context, it can be stated that this has to be taken into certain consideration pertaining to the fact that in most of the cases the business decision is influenced by the mode of workers engaged in the operations.
Conclusion
It can thus be concluded that in most of the business cases there is a certain need to understand the mode of operational process and link them to the entrepreneurial process. As a matter of fact, this has to be profoundly understood that the entrepreneurial and innovative decisions would influence the core business process of the farm thus targeting the effective market structure.
