Project briefing
Globex Organization has arranged 3 days events called Riverina Agriculture and Lifetime Shows (RALS) for the consumers who are willing to develop their businesses with measurable organizational values effectively. The participants of the event are allowed to get entry passes for 1, 2 or 3 or for all the 3 days. People who are interested to in business values will be able to gain knowledge regarding local business capabilities, suppliers of the agricultural equipments and many other lifetime products. The project developers of any business organization are required to follow certain components including co-ordination for show stand, equipments for the development and display of the program live, arrangement of foods or catering and volunteers for managing the program properly. This program is organizing by the organizers since 2000 in the same location. However, due to growing popularity of the event the numbers of participants are also increasing day by day and according to the growing demand of the tickets the volunteers have currently willing to implement an online ticket booking system for the participants of the event.
After the identification of desired Measurable Organizational Values the project scope, accurate project metrics, timeframe of the RALS project and cost estimation for the project are elaborated in this report. In addition to the time and finance management a risk management and quality management plan are also illustrated. Based on the required time for an activity accurate cost will be estimated for the project. The desired area for MOV and their ranking according to the impact on the project is also illustrated in this report.

Strategies |
1 |
High |
Business strategies are the most important components that are strictly needed to be considered by the project manager to gain measurable success from the competitive marketplace with higher success. |
Customers |
2 |
High |
Without the support and help of the consumers any business or project will be babe to gain huge success and competitive advantages as well. Therefore, the satisfaction levels of the consumers are the most important thing that should be considered by the project manager before the implementation of any project. Considering the project details it is determined that the online ticket booking system is needed to be user friendly and secured as well. |
Operational |
4 |
Medium |
The operational and functional excellence of any business and project are very much important things to be considered. The operational ability of the online ticket booking system must have user friendly activities so that all the consumers could handle the system must properly. |
Financial |
3 |
High |
Without proper capital investment and financial support none of the roject or business operation could get success from the competitive market. In order to get effective success from the competitive market it is necessary for the project developers and event organizer to estimate the RALS project budget properly. If the project manager fails to make the feasibility study then, the major risks will occur. |
Social |
5 |
Medium |
The impact of social media is quite important for the successful implementation of the RALS project. The project manager, volunteers and the consumers of the programs of the RALS show will be able to communicate with each other frequently with the help of social components. |
Better: The existing offline ticket booking system or the manual ticket booking system is not inefficient but at the same time the online ticket booking system is much better from both the business and consumer’s perspectives. The online ticket booking system will be able to serve a much better and user friendly system for application to the event participants.
Faster: The online system is faster from the operational and functional aspect. After the implementation of this system the participants will be able to get tickets faster than the traditional systems and they need not to wait in the queue.
Cheaper: With the evolvement of online ticket booking system the number of system operators or manpower get reduced and thus, the overall cost needed for the implementation of the system get reduced automatically,
For the successful implementation of the RALS project in Globex it is impornat to develop proper project metrics. The assumption and expectation of the project team members are different and all the expectations are needed to reach properly. The expectation of the project metrics are below:
stakeholders |
