However, the company is the largest takeaway liquor retailer in the country. The company also employs about 202,000 people (Woolworths.com.au, 2017). Recent studies have shown that the revenue of the company has had a drop from the earlier performances.

Thus, it can be concluded that the VRIO analysis of Woolworths provide the fact that the company is quite capable of gaining a competitive advantage.
