Identifying Management Principles and Organizational Structure
Management of business processes is vital for all the business organisations and owner, and senior management has the primary responsibility to take the ultimate decision with a view to organizational development (Hermann et al., 2017). This particular study mainly signifies the overall management process of Ivoire Voyage Travel and Tourism Company. I want to open a Travel and tourism company in different places in the United Kingdom. The company will offer the tourist low cost touring plans in all over the world. Effective service, high class accommodations and attractive places will grab the attention of more customers. For that reason, it is essential to understand the overall management effectively to manage the day to day workforce in an efficient manner (Mendling et al., 2018). Management will recruit different staffs such as Guide, Travel managers, labours and management staffs, delivery boy, marketing staffs etc. Apart from that, this organisation will provide 10% offer in pre bookings and online booking facility to the public. The vision of this organisation will be one of the leading Travel agency in the United Kingdom.
It is also essential to manage the overall culture and employee activities to improve overall organizational performance. The Human Resource managers will evaluate the performance of each and individual employees and provide training based on requirements (Pourmirza et al., 2017). Every organization wants to grow its position so that it is important to use some management functions such as tour planning, organizing the tour perfectly, Leading and controlling the customers to achieve the objective successfully. Planning is the important part of every travel agency, and effective planning provides the organisation higher competitive advantages in operating market (Mendling et al., 2018). Lack of proper planning in the business also reduces the performance of each and individual employees’ leads to poor customer service. The proper resources are necessary for every travel agency while organising the business processes.
The hierarchical structure will be more useful for this business organisation because the higher levels need to control the lower level staffs effectively to get the maximum output from the employees leads to improve financial profitability as well as an organisational brand image (Hermann et al., 2017). The primary responsibility of the guide is to provide effective service and fulfill the requirements of customers during tour and tour manager will manage the overall booking process and evaluate the customer service for ensuring better quality. The marketing team will focus on promotion and advertising to increase the number of customers. The management and administration will gather feedback from every customer in improving the service further (Ekstrand et al., 2018). This company will provide online package booking services, and customers can select the tour packages by using the online application. Use of this particular structure will increase interaction between workers and customers and if the workers of Ivoire Voyage never able to build a good relationship with the customer than it will increase the number of loyal customers leads to improves both financial and business performance.
Understanding Management Culture for a Travel and Tourism Company
Organisation culture is essential, and it generally increases both the number of customers as well as employees in the company. The management of Ivoire Voyage needs to implement some strong policies during tour and maintain proper security to avoid the legal obligations (Smetana, Rogers and Welfel, 2017). The mission of this organisation is to provide the customer satisfaction by ensuring comfortable accommodation and safety during the tour. The vision of Ivoire Voyage is to be the leading Travel agency in the United Kingdom. Management needs to follow different strategies to maintain a proper culture in the organisation (Ekstrand et al., 2018). The organisational learning process, the behaviour of employees, corporate change process also influences culture. According to Edgar Schein’s first level of culture it has been recognised that there are different artefacts such as employee behaviour, organisational process, systems, policies and regulation mainly indicate corporate culture, and it can be easily discerned but very hard to understand. In tourism industry employee behaviour is one of the important factors and positive and friendly behaviour with customer will increase the rate of customer satisfaction as well as number of sales.
Implementation of effective leadership is vital for all the business organisations, and the primary function of a leader is to motivate the other employees to achieve their target effectively (Bolman and Deal, 2017). Strong leadership in the organisation usually helps management to maintain strong rules in the organisation leads to manage the day to day workforce correctly. A good leader needs to identify the psychology of other members, and it is essential in fulfilling all the requirements of every employee to continue the business operation smoothly (Elsbach and Stigliani, 2018). Autocratic leadership style will be better for a travel Agency organization because autocratic leadership and that will help to manage the overall tour effectively. According to this leadership style, the leaders mainly take a vital decision by evaluating different ideas so that it will also provide management or owner the power to decide for organisational development.
The mission of Ivoire Voyage is to improve both financial performance and brand image of the business and vision of this organisation is to be one of the famous Travel agency company all over the United Kingdom. Another primary objective of this organisation is to expand the business in other emerging markets to increase the number of customers for more financial profitability. Improve brand image will increase the number of customers and the good organisational image will attach the customer psychologically with this brand leads to increase the number of words of mouth promotion (Anderson and Sun, 2017). On the other hand, improve financial position will help management to expand the business in another potential market successfully. Provide best quality services, accommodations to the customers and provide the tourist flexible tour schedule will also provide the organisation huge competitive advantages in British tourism Industry.
It is essential for management to select some strategies to reduce the chances of the downturn in business. The owner needs to minimise the number of employees and merge with other organisation to recover its position as soon as possible (Ricard et al., 2017). But reduce the number of employees or work with other business organisation is not a good solution. The effective management team needs to make changes in the organisation structure, cultural differences and management changes (Anderson and Sun, 2017). The change process is more useful to improve business performance further. Management will set the particular target for all the employees and provide a reward to motivate the employees in achieving their objectives entirely. This process will improve the overall performance of management and organisation. At the same time, the owner will set a fixed target for the marketing team also, and that is urgent to maintain the number of customer.

Aristotle theory mainly signifies the stages of oral communication that are important for a business organization in managing regular workforce in an efficient manner. This particular model usually focused on speaker and the speech. The five major element of this model are Speaker, speech, Occasion, Audience and Effect. According to this model the role of Audience is passive and audience mainly influenced by the speech that means it is a one way communication process. This organisation will use both verbal and nonverbal communication because verbal communication will reduce misunderstandings between the employee and management. At the same time company can store the records and data through written communication.

Implementation of various business communication models such as Berlo’s S-M-C-R Model, Aristotle’s Model, Lasswell’s Model etc. will improve my knowledge further and implementation of these models will provide me huge competitive advantage in my whole career (Ameen, 2017). At last, sales volume improvement, market expansion and profitability are the main objectives of every business organisation so that use of proper communication information system, effective culture and leadership will help me to grow my business in a short period in UK market.
