Formula for calculating the expected time = (Optimistic Time +4 x Most Likely +Pessimistic)/6
Another tool which could be used by the manager to manage the critical project is determining the critical path, using the critical path method will help in ensuring that the project should get completed within the timeframes required for the same (Wojciech Macek, 2011). It is necessary that the shortest path of completing the project should be determined by the project manager. Critical path method helps in ensuring that the project will be completed in the shortest path and in an effective way.
