Discuss about the Marketing & Communication for Digital Solution to Work Processes.
The world has a total population of over 7 billion and active internet users are more than 54%, this shows how deep Internet has penetrated in daily lives of the people (Cook-Sather, 2017).There are over 2.4 Billion active social media users, thus emphasizing the need for digital media solution to improve the productivity and efficiency of the organization (Cross, 2018).
The purpose of the report here is to plan for the selection and implementation of the proposed digital solutions and identify features of the system which will be a fit for the needs of the organization. Towards the end the report will also focus on a role play to simulate the implementation of planning through training.
There are plethora’s of digital tools in the industry ecosystem at the very present, however there are certain tools which matter the most for the organization in terms of collaboration, engagement, decision making, knowledge gathering, data analysis, knowledge sharing and many more. The objective here is to break down the traditional ecosystem and come up with a set of digital solution to break down the communication system and transform the experience of the employees by providing efficiency, innovation and growth.

The digital solution tools are planned, selected and implemented on the basis of the following criteria:
Digital workplace in the simplest of terms can be understood as an environment facilitating communication, collaboration and ability to connect easily with one another. Digital solution makes it easier for the organization and the employees to achieve the before mentioned objectives (Iansiti & Lakhani, 2017). Communication can be easily doe by implementing Facebook for business in the organization. The great engagement tool can be used to facilitate communication between the top management and junior level employees. The easy platform makes it easier for the employees to send their messages directly to the top management, who can further take a call on the employees concerns or their rationale on a particular issue with the organization. Collaboration is another feature which is provided by the digital tools, these tools make it easier for the employees to work together towards a common goal and objective (Collins & Halverson, 2018). Different tools such as Zoho Business tool, Google Docs can be simply used here to collate the work of every employee and keep it on cloud for further use and analysis. Zoho as a business tool is garnering strong support from business organization. In order to connect with the employees or with other industry wizards, Linked in as a social media tool is of great help. The tool not only helps the employees to get in touch with the employees of their own organization on the professional platform, it also provides an opportunity to join various groups and connect with people working in the same industry but different organization. The underlying goal here is to foster relationship based on productivity and knowledge sharing, which is easily facilitated by the tools mentioned in this section (Nambisan, 2017).
Collaborate, communication and Connect
Every organization has its own digital toolbox, which are used in the organization not only for the purpose of engagement, but also to facilitate the tasks in the organization. Amazon which is the largest e-commerce company has multiple such tools leveraging the technology for the optimum utilization of the organizational resources. One of the most significant and fundamental tool used by Amazon is its Amazon web services. The Tool helps in content delivery, data analytics, and real time bidding for the key words. The tool is focussed on product innovation, scalability, speed and efficiency. An Amazon web service gives the company the ability of data automation which will help the company in analysing the journey of its users to provide them with better experience. Keyword inspector is a suite of tools which is used by Amazon, this tool helps in predicting the trends of the popular keywords, which helps the company in coming up with the right keywords to bid (Zysman & Kenney, 2017).
One of the most important aspect of using digital tools as a part of business technology is controlling the overall usage of tools in business technology. The tools have to work in accordance with the business regulation and the organizational policies. It is important that the digital tools are scrutinized in terms of its usage and are controlled whenever necessary. Thus, all the digital tools are strongly used before the usage and check points are created wherever necessary (Jungherr, 2017).
It is extremely important that in order to gain the benefits, the digital tools have to guide the organization on the path of enhanced productivity and engagement. Amazon uses Keepa, which is its price tracker, it helps in price history graphs, see the latest deals, compare prices of products on Amazon and view historical info within the browser. In addition to this company uses multiple tools such as; Repricer express, Appeagle, seller logic and Merchant words for measuring the business value (Tzoc & Millard, 2017).
The precursor to the implementation of the digital tools in the business ecosystem is making the employees understand the rationale behind using the tools, and how these tools will help them to perform with enhanced speed and productivity contributing towards the goals of the organization.
In order to implement this digital solution tools, the following steps have to be taken:
- Skill gap analysis- Organization has to identify the skill gap, by identifying the current competencies and the required competencies for the job. After conducting the skill gap analysis, the HR team at Amazon will have to create a training calendar for the employees.
- Resource allocation and Training calendar- The next step in the implementation of digital solution in the organization is accumulating the resources for the digital tools and the trainers to provide training to the employees on these tools. The training calendar is thus based on the training needs of the employees and created in sync with their availability.
- Training Feedback- Towards the end of the training of the employees it is important to take the feedback of the employees on their learning and understanding of the tools. Based on their understanding and assessment, the tools are implemented for improving organizational productivity in the organization.
Training Manager: Good Morning guys!!! I am sure you guys know me well as I have been an important change agent in the organization. Are you all aware of the rationale behind this new training need in the organization?
Technology: The digital toolbox
Employees- We only have a little idea, it is something related to new digital solutions being implemented in the organization, but would really appreciate if you can help us better understand the rationale for training.

As all you guys must be aware of Facebook for business, this tool will get you in touch with the senior management and you would be able to discuss any problem, issue or even share your view on certain decision making tasks in the organization. Moreover, you guys are free to create a cohort of your own on Linked in and Facebook to enhance your learning and development.
Employees: Sir, how can Linked In, Blogs and Facebook help us in our learning and development?

These forums serve as a good platform in knowing the new trends in the sector and the future projection of the industry. This will develop your business acumen and will develop a better understanding of the industry. It will thus help in leveraging the decision making in our business organization.
Employees: Sir, apart from this, what other tools will we be using?
Training manager: You guys will get learning on a dozen of tools such as; AWS, Jungle scout, AMZ tracker, Keyword inspector, scope and many more. The underlying purpose here is that you not only learn how to use this platform, but also how these platforms will help you in delivering your work on time. At Amazon we are always focussed on pushing the digital spectrum of learning for your overall development, learning and growth of both the business organization and its employees.
