Background
Discuss About The ACM Conference Companion On Supported.
Health sector has been the most important sector in the society. Health of an individual has been always fluctuating with time. Therefore, there is a huge demand of health professionals in the market. Information technology have helped in enhancing the health care services in the market (Lee et al. 2018). Various applications are helping in enhancing the health care services. This report deals with an application named My Health Record, which have been helping in providing health care services to the patients. This application has been authorized by the Australian Government for providing online care services to the patients. The use of this application has helped in maintaining the online care services of the patients at home. This report outlines the specification and features of the application in detail.
Health sector have been a promising sector from all of the existing sector. The importance of this sector will never be down in the market. There is a need of scalability and flexibility in this sector that help in providing advanced level of assistance in the absence of a doctor or any emergency condition (Heath et al. 2015). Therefore, IT interference in this sector is important. Information technology has helped in implementing advance technology in providing quality services to individual. The use of this application has been providing various benefits to the users. The user can get various suggestion from various unhealthy conditions of human being. Several first aid guidance have been provided in the applications. The user can directly talk to doctors with the help of this application. The use of this application have helped in providing instant care services to the care users (Heath-Reynolds and VanWeelden 2015). The health sector in Australia have been enhancing its technology in hospitals and care centers. The quality of care services have been increasing on a daily basis. However, there has been problem related to the instant services. Therefore, an application has been developed in order to minimize these problems in providing care services to individuals. The necessity of application in the health care sector have been increasing that helps in creating this application. My health record application has been a step ahead to technical aspect of health care.
This mobile application has been made for using on android platform 4.0 and above. This application does not interfere other applications during running process. This application stores its data and information over the cloud storage (Rushton et al. 2015).
System Architecture
These four functional requirements are included in this application:
- It allows users to easily record diaries.
- It supports user engagement by displaying results.
- It provides user friendly interface.
- It is easy to use interface on working a limited screen of mobile.
This application can be used by anyone having a smart android phone. The application needs to be used daily for checking operation in the body. A daily health report is generated by this application.
This application has been developed with the help of the Android platform. Therefore, this application can only be run over an android platform. The application have an interface for the use of the patient. The user have to create an account over the mobile application by providing login credentials including login ID and password for account. The password needs to be of at least five characters (McGregor 2015).
The database of the application has been stored online. A cloud database system has been used in the application that help in storing data an information about the patients and their health report over the internet. The database of the application have been maintaining the services for showing the health report of the patients. The login credentials and other private information have been turned over the database in the internet (Bouayad, Ialynytchev and Padmanabhan 2017). Therefore, the application can be accessed from anywhere with the help of internet due to the implementation if the cloud technology in it. However, the user can also use this application in offline mode for accessing stored information in the local memory of the application. This information include help and support for the some general health care system. Therefore, the user does not has to go online every time.
The layout of the application have been developed with the help of XML. Users have to click on the logo to enter into the next interface of the application (Assadi and Hassanein 2017). The Login Screen of the application has been helping in logging into the application. Therefore, the login credentials helps in authenticating the login of the users into their accounts. The login window include two fields including username and passwords. Therefore, the registered user can login into the application by using the username and passwords selected during the registration process. The activity screen of the application include a list activity including Enter Record, Load Records, Delete Records and Logout. The delete button helps in deleting all the records from the database. The administrator part of the application is used by the administrator of the application that helps in maintaining the database of the application. The administrator of this applicator contact with all the hospitals and doctor for arranging online session with the application. The user can directly consult with the doctors and hospitals during any emergency condition. The data collection screen if the application helps in collecting data related to their body for storing in the application (Bonilla et al. 2015). These fields include date of birth of user, name of patient, heartbeats per minute and doctor’s remarks. Various logic are integrated in the application that helps in calculating results as per the input provided by the user.
Functional Requirements
There are various risks included in the application as it connected with the internet. Therefore, all the cyber security treats are implemented in this application. The data and information is stored over the cloud storage. Therefore, the risks of cyber threat has been prevailing in the application. Various cyber-attacks can breach data and information of the patient from the database (Jimoh et al. 2018). There can be SQL injection in the database of the application. Therefore, all the data and information might be lost to the hacker. The personal information of the patient including their blood group and DNA report are stored in the database. Therefore, these information might get breached out by these cyber-attacks. Passwords of the user can easily be hacked by the hackers and intruders. Therefore, this might negatively affect the business of the company investing on the development of applications. Various malwares and viruses can enter into database of the application and breach all data and information. The mobile device can also be affected by viruses and malwares that might create a hollow point in the application through which all data and information can be breached out.
This application have been providing a positive impact on the business of the company investing in this application. The customer base of the application have been increasing on a daily basis due to its quality services provided to the patients. The use of this application has been providing various benefits to the users (Heath 2017). The user can get various suggestion from various unhealthy conditions of human being. Several first aid guidance have been provided in the applications. The user can directly talk to doctors with the help of this application. The use of this application have helped in providing instant care services to the care users. The health sector in Australia have been enhancing its technology in hospitals and care centers. The quality of care services have been increasing on a daily basis.
