Types of Network Wires
This document is a report on network design and implementation for Arr Company. The company has six offices in Melbourne city which communicate among each other in the city. It describes the type of network communication media used to implement the network.
The best network topology which is implemented among different offices to enhance easier communication between the network devices within the network area. The design also includes the specification of network components that were used to implement the network and the estimation of the total costs of the components. The report describes the physical and logical structure of the network that was implemented in the Arr Company offices. This shows the exact locations where devices are placed within the network.
Design and Implementation
Wan Representation
The following diagram shows location of the offices within the network. Each office is connected to its on router to form a local network[1]. Then the routers are connected to the cloud to form WAN network. Routers manages communication within the offices. Cloud controls and enhance communication between the officers .All servers are stored at the headquarters for security purposes .Network settings are also carried out at the headquarter.

There are many types of network wires. Among them is the Ethernet cable mostly used in many networks? This kind of cable is highly recommended because it has more advantages than the others. They are cheaper to be acquired and readily available at the market. Has more advantages like high bandwidth, high flexibility, low loss of signal and highly reliable. Data flows through the Ethernet cable with a lot of easy and high speed.
Network topology.
The devices within the network should be arranged in a strategic manner to easy troubleshooting of the network encase there is any problem. It creates an easy interface for device interaction with the users. There are a number of them but bus and star topology were used in the network design since they are more simple and can easily implemented .With star topology in case of any device within the network that is malfunctioning it can be removed by unplugging the cable from the network hub or switch[8].
Network Topology
Bus topology
Uses main cable to which all the other cable nodes from computers are connected. Main cable acts has the backbone of the network and it is very easy to connect many devices to this kind of topology. Another advantage of this kind of topology is that it does not involve more cables hence low cost in network implementation.
Star topology.
In this every computer within the network is connected to the central hub or switch that manages the network. Costs for implementing a star topology are very cheap and new nodes can be easily added to the central node[9]. This kind of topology is robust such that if one device fails other connection remains intact without experiencing any problem or causing any problem to the remaining devices.
Conclusion
Implementation and design of network is critical because at the end we should have a well communicating network. Designing a well-functioning networks involves planning and good decision making without this poor network plan will be developed. The main factors that should be looked upon while designing networks should be the physical structure and its logical structure .Not living behind the type of topology the network is implemented in and the various components that are used .Choosing of good network components and topology of the network determines network speed. This is because other types of components are slow while others are very fast in nature same to different types of network Components.Arr Company should use above resources for their network to provide easy and faster communication.
